Photo Exceptional Accuracy

This is a picture from a recent strike on a vehicle with terrorists transporting weapons.

As you can see, only the vehicle was hit. Nothing around it, no tent, no civilian.

There are countless examples of the pinpoint accuracy that the IDF exercises when striking targets, but sadly these examples don’t reach the Jew-Hating general media and crowd.

Question: Drafting

Question: Training Fitness requirements of different combat units

So i know this is kind of random, but does anyone know the exact fitness requirements of three specific corps: Isuf kravi, Shyrion and hagana avirit. I want to know the exact number of reps or time of the different components of the kashag in each of these, the components are i believe 3km run, weighted pull ups, dips and sprints. If anyone knows or was in any of these units, please let me know. It has to be about the modern updated kashag though, thank you

General Help with Passport/fasttrack?

Hi, I’m looking to volunteer through Mahal as Bnei Mnagarim for the August draft. I have a parent that was born in Israel, but I was born in the US and wasn’t registered at birth. I’m trying to get my Israeli passport on time so I’m able to get all of my documents in by February, but am having no luck. Does anyone have any advice or know if there’s a fast track available??

Question: Drafting joining the Heil HaYam HaYisraeli

This is my first time posting here and my first time looking into this topic, so please forgive me if my questions are a bit broad or obvious.

I’m looking for some guidance on where to start for a pre-teen who has expressed a strong interest in eventually joining the Israeli Navy (Heil HaYam). What proactive steps or preparation can he take during his teenage years to set himself up for drafting or applying?

We are not israeli, but doing Aliah, or for him to finish school there are all open options;

Also, I'm curious about how the IDF assignment process works. Do recruits get to choose their specific branch, or are placements assigned entirely based on tests and abilities?

Any insights, resources, or advice would be greatly appreciated

Question: Drafting Advice on my situation please :)

I am a new Oleh (who made aliyah at 25 a few months ago but have recently turned 26!) and although it wasn’t really on the cards before I came, I am deeply considering drafting (as a volunteer, for 1.5 years) to the IDF and I am seeking advice.

I have been back and forth visiting Israel for years, and now that I finally live here, I feel like I want to and need to serve. The idea of not doing it has been keeping me up at night and I have a feeling in my stomach telling me this is my destiny.

I had a difficult conversation with my non Israeli parents this week, and of course they don’t want me to be a Lochem/Kravi soldier, so I am exploring possible job/combat support roles, but at this age I want my service to be meaningful and special.

I am someone with a ‘fk it, let’s do it’ attitude and I am currently one of the oldest at my Ulpan, but I just get on with it and it’s fine. What does it matter if I’m
26 and the others are 20? I love the idea of the ‘chavaya’ of the army, from Michve to the end. I know it won’t be easy but I’ve thought long and hard and I think I’m doing it for the right reasons.

I have a degree in business from a top university (but don’t need to use it) I have experience in Hadracha, I am a great people’s person and excellent at working in teams. I am looking into Kishrei Chutz and some other similar units, but I don’t want a tafkid where I’m stuck in an Airconditioned office all day - I want to feel like I’m in the army and do something special. I know the army don’t ‘need’ me, and won’t ‘care’ about me, but I feel like I would thrive as a Chayal Boded.

If anyone can give me any tips on how to move forward I would appreciate it. Am I too old? Should I just start my life in Israel without serving? Should I just be a Lochem? Is there space to find a non combat role where I’m not on Yomiyot in the Kirya and I can experience a closed base? Who can I speak to to help me find a good tafkid for me?

Thanks so much and I appreciate you all. Am Yisrael Chai.

Question: Drafting Complicated draft

Hello everyone, i have a weird question..
Im a guy from the westbank who wishes to join the idf, i tried contacting mahal, meitav, olem, and other groups to try to join for the last 6 months, they were either surprised and tried to help alot, or super suspicious but supportive at the same time. Yeah it does sound suspicious but i have my reasons and beliefs. And one of them is if arab Israelis are able to join, so am i, i was born on this land and i think i have the right to fight for what i think is right and be on the right side of history.
I haven’t been able to be open about this subject to anyone because i would literally be considered a traitor and maybe be executed.
If you have knowledge about my situation or you can help me i would be appreciative.
And yes i don’t have a temporary or permanent Israeli ID/citizenship, i have a green ID.

Question: General Service How to serve

Hi, I’m currently working as a pharmacist in France, and I know that I will make Aliyah in a few years, probably in my mid-30s.

I have never served in the military or done any military service in the past, but I would like to serve in one way or another during my free time. From what I understand, there seem to be quite a few opportunities for this.

First question: What kind of service would be useful? I’m having a hard time finding information about things like the fire service in Israel, for example.

Second question: How do Israelis generally view people who live in Israel without having a military background, especially when there is a legitimate reason for not having served?

Third question: How do Israelis generally view the Border Police (Magav) and the police, particularly in terms of their reputation for voluntering ?

Question: Units When should i send a massage to meitav regarding gama cyber?

So about a month ago i filled the first gama cyber questionnaire form (male, i take physics, computer science 5 points math and English, profile 97 dapar 70)

At that time it was before yom hamea.

Anyways i was told i wont continue a like a week later, now I think i filled it good but what made me fail is the combination of my grades and profile

Dapar 70

Math: yearly 78 bagrut 78

Computer science: yearly around 85 and bagrut around 85 i dont remember

Physics: yearly 82 i think and like 54 on bagrut (fumbled the bagrut, planning on redoing of course but it's only at the end of this year (im 12th grade now)

Now i got yom hamea (got 4 in everything except 3 in one), and i have a date to redo the dapar which i plan to ace but it's at the end of next month (25th, october)

Now i want to send a message to meitav asking to get another chance an the gama questionere but if i ask now, all of my stats are the same. But if i ask later after i get the dapar results (considering I'll do better) won't it be too late? Or maybe should i ask in both times?

I know i will only he able to fix my physics grade at the end of the year (my giyus is at march 2028 btw)

And i also wanna note i got klala haman (כלל חמ"ן) tests soon (23, September)

So what should i do? I really wanna persue something like gama, but idk when to massage them about redoing it. I know its unlikely to get a yes, but I've been told i should try.

Also separate question, i heard its best to call them instead of leave a massage, and in general to ask for miyunim for other things on the phone but i dont know what to tell them. Which miyunim should i ask for? What do i say?

Question: Drafting Tzav Rishon in two weeks but idk where???

I'm a new Olah and I've been trying to expedite my draft process. Earlier this week i got a call from Meitav telling me the date of my tzav rishon but I got literally no further information. I'm in central Israel so i think it's at tel hashomer but idk what time or really where.

I was so confused i asked them to get someone who spoke English to tell me and the English speaker said the exact same thing 'your tzav rishon will be on <date>. bye bye.' how do i know what time or where? it's in two weeks... directly after chag so i imagine my ability to contact them prior is going to be fairly limited, starting basically now 😭

Question: General Service Options for working with the IDF as an Israeli citizen living abroad if I’m planning on immigrating back at 28?

Hello, I immigrated to America when I was 6 and am currently 27. I’m hoping to move back next year and really want to do some sort of service to support the country. However, I’d be 28 when I move, which I know can cause issues.

For my background, I do have undergraduate degrees in mathematics and physics and a master’s degree in computer science. I also have some experience working at a large company in America. Thus, I wanted to know what my options are. Are there any opportunity for someone with my background to serve. Are there any ways for me to get involved given my experience?

General Need help

I'm in tzanchanim and I dislocated my shoulder in training, because it was my second dislocation my profile dropped from 97 to 45, and I stayed on base as a jobnik, this was around 7 months ago and Iv been trying to go back to combat ever since, the doctor on base couldn't care less and she says she doesn't have the authority to raise my profile, even tho I got a document from a orthopedic doctor saying that I'm good to go back to combat, and then a another document from a army orthopedic that confirms and agrees with that. I requested to talk with the רופא חטיבתי and got denied, I'm waiting now on a talk with the magad, and il basically beg him to help me, (although I know there isn't much he can do) I really need help here, who should I talk too and what can I do?? I really need to go back to combat and I want to fight it out to the very end. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

General Finishing the Service

Hey guys, and girls of course!

I’m finishing my service this month, and the first thing I will do is fly to Japan for a nice, wild trip next month.

And what about y’all?
Those who are close to finishing or have already finished their service, what was the first thing you did after finishing?
And what advice do you wish you had given yourself sooner?

Question: Units Do isuf battalions or companies get moved during wartime?

I know that isuf battalions are generally locked to a specific region but using the 2026 Lebanon war as an example, would isuf troops from the golan or Syrian border be sent to maybe relieve or supplement the isuf troops in Lebanon?

Question: Drafting Bureaucracy question: Oleh wants to get into special forces

16.5 y.o, I plan to move to Israel through attending a Mechina program by 17 y.o. I want to spend my time in the military in the most meaningful and beneficial way possible, so I want to try to get into special units, such as intel units related to SIGINT(I think it's called Moddin?)and special forces.

But since I will make Aliyah only after I graduate from high school in my home country at around 17 years old, I'm afraid that I will simply miss the selections into special units and end up being in a 'regular' role.

I've heard that Israelis start their recruitment process at 16 years old and go through selection processes during their time in school , so it is much easier for them. But how does it typically work for olim who have just arrived in the country?

Are there fixed dates when selections take place during the year?

How much in advance of selections should I go through the Tzav Rishon to get an invitation to those selections?

How realistic is my wish in general? Is it even achievable?

assume that I'm fluent in Hebrew

Question: Units In a manoeuvring brigade during relative peacetime, is there a way to get stationed in a specific place or is it just luck and can you stay in one place for the length of your service?

During relative peacetime, can someone enlisted in one of the 5 standard infantry brigades be permanently, or so long as “peace” persists, stationed in a specific location like the golan or the Arava? Are there specific roles or jobs outside of standard infantry that can make it more likely you be sent to a specific place?

I know that isuf roles usually don’t move like the battalions in the hermon or on the Lebanese border probably won’t be moved down to the Negev but aside from them

Question: Drafting Questions as Prospective Oleh - Dover Tzahal etc.

hey all, im in high school and currently exploring plans for my future (college, career, etc.)

the aliyah path is looking increasingly likely by the day - i had some questions.
i heavily prefer a non-combat position. Dover Tzahal is definitely my number one aim and also kishrei chutz as a possibility. im also very open to intelligence/modiin but im not so sure about what they’re looking for in olim (if anyone could share info abt this it would be great!)

also, if anyone could provide information about the best way to go about getting into dover tzahal, that would be super appreciated. it might help that im heavily involved in israel advocacy, public speaking, and local politics & journalism.

how do they make the assignments for dover + what would be the best program for my aliyah/draft? i typically associate machal/garin tzabar with combat but i could be wrong.

overall im really aiming for communication (or intelligence - need more info on this tho) and im a little unsure where to begin. any and all information is helpful!!!! :))
