Still feels weird, though. Guess we'll find out tomorrow. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, no biggie.

Its true i mean i could also be wrong i havent worked in retail for like a decade but i did for like 15 years, especially stores with large amounts of varying items, you would often just get an exel sheet with a small description, sku number, sometimes but not often a location and then the current new price and the old price and then you would manually take a pricing gun and adjust ever item once you found it. Sometimes this happens in unison sometimes stores just specifically get them and not others. I didnt specifically work at gamestop either but every company i have worked for has had a similar system.

That's what makes it so weird. I did work for them on and off, I haven't worked for them since 2019 and this feels way off. More off than usual. If they're legit doing this like they did Pokemon, then there might be one...or two suckers dumb enough to fall for it.

But last I checked, the website itself didn't have ANY PS5 Pros to sell AT ALL! So if this is true, then good freaking luck getting anyone in there to even SELL a PS5 Pro.

This is legit 2020 all over again. I wish GTA 6 didn't exist now....because no matter which PS5 you play it on (Or Xbox Series), It's going to run the freaking same...

I mean it is probably that, if they dont have any new ones then they are making way more off preowned ones and if the market for second hand is at a higher price then yeah i mean scalpers are gonna grab it and sell it higher so a business is going to take advantage of it if it can and gamestop can. I mean were in the post bankruptcy gamestop era they are more than likely not gonna wanna be anywhere near that position again and just in general the greed from all companys has gone through the roof lately so this doesnt surprise me as much as it should. But especially not gamestop i mean its a pawnshop with shareholders

Yea. Sadly, that's how you get Big Lots too. Before you ask, I was a former employee for them too....ended the way you think it did. Sooner or later, greed will bite hard...and destroy Gamestop, just like Bruce Thorn did with Big Lots.
