What makes him not great? I'm really curious, I've been playing call of Cthulhu for a lot of my life and I've heard his name come up a few times obviously. Never heard much negative, but I also kept most of my involvement to just playing with my friends.
He really, really buys into mormonism and is a big trump fan. He talks about the US and their enemies as "the good guys and bad guys". If you go on his twitter you'll see him use " bad guys" to describe basically everyone he dislikes. Also a big homophobe, as youd expect with him being so into mormonism.
source: i followed him on twitter for his ttrpg takes for a while.

Sander Peterson isn't a great guy, sadly, but his opinions on games (especially ttrpgs) are pretty good
