Shitpost In the year 2026…
In 2026, Noa Essengue will play his way into the rotation, and Patrick Williams will be waived. Cash Considerations will be placed in the rafters.
Also, if you get the Conan reference, you’re the realist of the real.

Fluff Norman Powell brings a lot to the Bulls. His experience might be the most valuable
Norman Powell brings shooting and experience to a young Bulls roster, but his NBA journey might be his most valuable asset.
He’s been a starter and a reserve, buried on teams and rejuvenated on others. Now he’s embracing his role as a vet leader and mentor to Chicago’s young core.

Fluff NBA Preseason begins today! What are you 2026-2027 Bulls prediction?
I'm cautiously optimistic for this season. Here are my predictions:
-Wilson averages 17/6/3. Awesome season, but the defensive polish shines while the offensive shot making is a little raw
-Buzelis takes a leap. Under new coaching, I think this is the season he really shows out. I think he's a contender for Most Improved
-Powell averages 20+ ppg but is traded at the deadline
-The Bulls make the playoffs via a play in win. Hot take I know, but I think under new coaching and with some real direction we have a shot.
-Swain flashes upside but ultimately is more of a bench contributor while the shot looks iffy
What do you guys predict?

History 1995 All-Star Cedric Ceballos wasn't supposed to make it: he barely played in high school, got discovered working at a Taco Bell, from the 48th pick to leading the Lakers in scoring. Hear what Michael Jordan did the morning of a Finals game, and what a 17-year-old Kobe told him...

Fluff [KC Johnson] I asked Tiago Splitter to detail his staff and I appreciated his nearly 4-minute answer. Remember: Splitter was elevated to acting head coach in Portland, so this was opportunity for Splitter to build his own staff in Chicago. Here’s what Splitter said ⬇️

Fluff How would you rank all of the Bulls Head Coaches since Phil Jackson?
While trying to at least account for the talent they were given and excluding Pete Myers, Bill Berry(no recollection of this) and Splitter
Thibs - sweet prince
Skiles - led the revitalization, did him dirty firing on Christmas
Donovan - got screwed with terrible FO but very meh experience
Del Negro - chaotic but also somehow .500. Mediocre with high volatility. Fun memories
Cartwright - coach/babysitter
Jim BoylAn - don’t have too many thoughts but 07-08 bulls were just discouraging experience. Rose otw
Hoiberg - limp… worst personality to bring in after Thibs experience, substitute teacher vibes
Jim BoylEn - annoying personality, came off like a pissy camp counselor. Arrogance in his “wisdom” for the youth. Bull headed
Tim Floyd - I just get sad when I see his face. Impossible task, but also part of the darkest years for Bulls fans

Rumor The Lakers are apparently interested in trading for Jalen Smith. All we could really give up is 2 seconds and expiring contracts. Do you think the Bulls have any interest in that?
Does Jalen Smith factor into the Bulls long term plans? Do you want the team to retain him or extend him or cash in now for future assets?

Fluff Michael Jordan’s Game 3 jersey from the 1998 Finals sold for $12.3 million, the most ever for an NBA jersey
The jersey Jordan wore in Game 3 of the 1998 Finals just sold for $12.26 million. That breaks the previous NBA jersey record, which was also Jordan: his Game 1 jersey from the same Finals sold for $10.1 million in 2022. Game 3 was the famous 96-54 Bulls win over Utah

Fluff [KC Johnson] Tiago Splitter praised Josh Giddey’s cerebral nature and lauded his triple doubles but wants him to cut down on TOs: “I don’t need him to be cute. I need him to be effective.”

Meta [Joel Lorenzi, The Athletic] Bulls have posted this listing for an Executive Director of Research & Development in the FO. I’m told they’re currently focused on building their analytics department and are looking to add several similar roles.

Shitpost Caleb Wilson - Better Than Cooper Flagg?
Was looking at Cooper Flaggs stats as a rookie. 21pts, 6 reb, 4 ass, with a block and steal a game. Shot 29% from 3.
This seems extremely achievable. Is it possible Caleb Wilson will turn into a better player than Cooper Flagg?
Will the Bulls win a championship THIS year, or next year?

Fluff I was wrong about Wilson
I’m a man who is willing to admit his wrongs. A few months ago I said I didnt want Wilson because he was ,to me, a project.
BUT WHEN I TELL YOU HE’S PROVEN ME SO GAWDDAMN WRONG. Him and Matas have me feeling very very good about our future. I have something to believe in again as a Bulls fan.
