I've seen a lot of people hating on him for being against divided Bengal. Although to me, it was for a good cause. He didn't want muslim and hindu bengalis separated, he wanted them together in 1 Bengal. They also say that he was against the creation of Dhaka University but that's a myth with no evidence (see 2nd image). What are your thoughts on this?

I’m a guy working for a foreign company where I have to stay up from 9pm to 6am. It’s been a while now and I feel suffocated for the lack of communication I need all of a sudden.

The friends I grew up with had all kinds of them, the ones that are educated left the country and the ones that are not are here and I just feel like I can’t fit in anymore, they mock you when you logically try to say something… sigh I dont wanna complain.

I keep remembering snippets from this one Humayun Ahmed book that I read over a decade ago but can't for the life of me recall the name of and would appreciate some help figuring out the name for.

It's about a family with three brothers and potentially other siblings as well but the narrator is the one of the brothers who has different colored eyes from the rest of the family so there is a bit in the book where there is some doubt as to the real father of the brother is and that his mom might have had an affair with her brother-in-law or the neighbour (can't remember which it was). There's also this bit about another brother who is wooing this rich, fair-complexioned girl to get his hands on her dowry as the family isn't very well-off but it's implied that he has feelings for another dusky complexioned girl instead as he can't stop smiling around her. I don't know if these details will be enough lol but I hope this helps. Otherwise I suppose I'll have to tackle Humayun Ahmed's whole catalogue to figure this out because this has been a bit of a brainworm for me.

My sister’s ex-boyfriend is harassing her online using screenshots from her video calls. I don’t want to go through the legal process because, as you know, these kinds of cases can be complicated in Bangladesh.

I’m looking for someone who can handle this privately and get all of the photos, screenshots, and other related material removed or deleted from his devices and accounts, without any confrontation or physical encounter. I’m willing to pay for the service.

For example, if someone accidentally kills another person in a road accident, can the victim’s family withdraw the case after reaching a financial settlement with the accused? IIRC, in many countries, cases like this are generally handled by the state, so the victim’s family may not have complete control over whether the case continues. The prosecution is usually brought by the state rather than by the victim or their family.

Also, if the accused offers the family money in exchange for dropping the case, there would be legal questions around that as well, and would likely open up new investigation on the accused and the family members who took the money as well.

But is Bangladesh’s system similar, or does the law allow the victim’s family to settle the matter privately and have the case withdrawn? How does this generally work under Bangladeshi law?

I am trying to learn more about the country and opinions and agendas of different groups of people and I learnt that a loud minority do hate Kazi Nazrul Islam the bidrohi poet and the national poet a lot and many even call him indian or "k৳fir" and i really wish to know for what reasons? Is this just by religious fanatics or are there actual reasons for example humayun ahmed while a great writer is hated for his "pedophilia" and I get it but why Kabi Nazrul?

My target is engineering or general subjects. My college has two options: Statistics and Biology for 4th subject. I got 98 in Bio in SSC.

However,I'm struggling with Biology in HSC. I can't seem to remember any enzymes,dates or Scientists. There are times,I wish to take Statistics but that'll take away a lot of options in admission such as microbiology,biomedical engineering,biotechnology,pharmacy,public health,etc which I don't want. You never know what'll happen in the future, I'd like to keep my options open. Its not like I hate biology or smth, I just can't seem to remember stuff as well as I used to. Not to mention, I have to put a lot of time in PCM as well. My sister keeps on saying, "Tumi to just start korla pora,it takes time. Trust the process" BUT I CAN'T TRUST MYSELF.

Can any senior please share tips on how to remember Biology? I already finished 5 chapters in biology BUT its all a blur to me rn. Like, if someone asks me a specific enzyme name,or discovery name,I'll blank out. I have a really irregular bio home tutor so I have to study myself most of the time. Thankfully,back in class 9,I did a lot of advanced reading in Biology which made concepts in HSC much easier BUT I'M REALLY SUFFERING.

Hey guys, I’m from India and didn’t make it in the NEET cut off, I want to become a doctor and I’m planning on studying MBBS abroad, everyone in my family is telling me to do it in Bangladesh because Bangladesh graduates have the highest FMGE pass rate. So I would like to know:

1) which medical colleges are the best to go for as an Indian student
2) how much the cost of living per year would be including the fees
3) what’s the environment like especially for Indians

And anything else you would like to share.

I want to get research experience type job so I can apply for scholarships with having papers publishing in Q1 journals. where should i apply? I'm recently graduated in CSE with undergrad thesis on Computer Vision ..no publications.
