Proof that spec matters with the Neue Klasse 3 Series

I think something that's really hampering the Neue Klasse 3 Series are the color and wheel options.

Out of the 11 color options, 8 of them are monochrome (silver, white, gray, black), then there are two blues and a red.

To make it worse, there are 8 different wheel options, but all of them are black.

I present to you my take on proper looking specs for the new 3. AI of course (but tried to keep it from hallucinating as much as possible)

Also, Neue Klasse 3 looks a LOT like M2 from some angles, where is the M2 crowd now?

Saw this BMW for sale on Marktplaats and had to do a double take 😂
It’s an 530D GT BMW… with a fucking G80 nose on it. 💀
Not gonna lie, I don’t even know how to feel about this. Is this considered an upgrade, a downgrade, or a crime against BMW? 😂
What do you guys think?

My previous vehicles were, in order, a 2002 Ford Escape, a 1991 Honda Accord, and a 2006 Chevy Malibu. With a new job and a nice bonus, I decided to make the jump and had this custom-built two years ago. It’s perfect for me. What do y’all think?

New car, who dis From Batmobile to Dadmobile 👶🏼C8 Z51 → M4 Competition xDrive Convertible

Post image

Just had a newborn, and as much as I loved the C8, it just didn’t make sense anymore. It was basically sitting in the garage because anytime we went anywhere as a family, we had to take the truck.
After looking at a bunch of different options, I ended up going with an M4 Competition xDrive Convertible. Still fast, aggressive and fun, but now I have a back seat, AWD, and with the top down getting the car seat in and out is ridiculously easy 😂
The biggest thing I already miss about the Vette is that V8 sound and having the engine right behind you. The C8 just had a different feeling every time you started it up. But the M4 honestly feels faster, more premium, and way more usable for where I’m at now.
Definitely going to miss the Vette though.

I was thrifting and found these. Are they even real or did someone just slap some BMW logos on a pair of jeans?

M-ish Enough of the poor steering feel.

Recently picked up a m240 a big fan of the b58 engine. Whilst the engine is the star, am struggling with the steering. Whilst it may point you in the correct direction, the lack of texture and feedback is just poor. It's almost like you are expected to be ok with its absence, just feels artificial. Getting into a cheaper GR Yaris was a bit of a wake up call, blows the BMW out of the water, actual feedback from the steering, suspension and brakes completely different level of feedback, probably the best I've felt on any modern car - interaction and feedback makes a car fun, not just pure speed - why can't BMW do more work in this area? It makes so much difference to the experience when you want to drive, rather than commute.

was following a 540i(G60) with fuel door open and fuel cap dangling at 70mph in heavy rain on I-95 in Maryland(north of DC). what was the worst that could happen?

was driving back from NY on I-95 yesterday. I was in my friend's Tesla at the time.

it was raining real hard just on I-95 just north of the Beltway.(DC)

A 540i(G60) passed us on the left and I noticed that the fuel door was open and the gas cap was out there. The fuel door was semi-open because the plastic strap prevented it from closing and the fuel cap was just dangling in the wind.

I decided to speed up and waved at the driver. She thought I was trying to pass her on the right... as I kept pointing towards the fuel door, she sped up even more. I gave up because we were close to 80mph and she kept accelerating.

In case that driver somehow visits this subreddit as well... it was a white 540i with M Sport trim. NJ license plate. I tried to alert you, but you took off. I assume you forgot to put the fuel cap back on after getting gas? :) Who knows, the driver may come here and ask "mechanic said I got water in my gas tank, how much should it cost to clean it out?" :)

I'm just wondering what what the worst that could happen if she drove like that for a a couple of hours or longer? Could rainwater have seeped into the gas tank?
