Restaurants w/ vegan or tofu-friendly options

Planning to take the love of my life to dinner next weekend and I was tryna find places that have non-meat or vegan dishes for them to eat. Mediterranean places are a plus if they have more than one option on the menu. Thanks!

Has anyone gone to the Majestic recently?

My friend really wants to meet for breakfast at The Majestic. I haven’t gone in 15 years due to being served bad mac and cheese. I have another friend who hasn’t been since the 90s due to a roach on their table. Presumably management has changed many times over the years. Has it improved at all? I’d much rather go to Ria’s or Homegrown.

Top 5 restaurants in the ATL this year? I'm planning a trip with my wife and grown boys and their wives. The entire crowd are pretty healthy eaters, but I know all of them will enjoy a good steak. Any recommendations?

Tejano visiting Atlanta for 1st time: need food recommendations

Hello, native to Texas and know good food. What i don't know, the places to hit up in Atlanta. Not looking for tourist traps but authentic Atlanta taste. The good places you take mom or dad on their birthday. I'm taking my family. 3 out of the 4 of us are celebrating birthdays so this is a special trip. I would really appreciate some good recommendations. Thanks.

Traveling to Midtown in less than a week. Food recs?

Hello! I'm going to be in Atlanta in a little over a week and I'm really excited. I have all the events/sights I want to see planned out, but I'm curious what restaurants I should check out. I'll be mainly walking around Midtown apart from a visit to the History Center. Good recs for the Beltline, L5P, etc? Thanks!

This is what I have listed so far: (updated after comments)

https://colonysquare.com/directory/dining/

Delilah's Everyday Soul

Lewis BBQ

South City Kitchen (good for brunch)

Crescent City Kitchen

Silver Skillet Restaurant (Brunch)

Savage Pizza

EDIT: I will not have a car so I was planning on walking most places, so I would like to stay in the midtown area. I know there's MARTA but I'm trying to stay nearby. I also don't drink so I don't want bars. I will be around the botanical garden, the history museum, center of puppetry arts, beltine and l5p.

EDIT 2: Thank you for all the help! I think I've got it now.

Onion Rings and Martinis

Visiting next week and looking for the best place that serves martinis and excellent onion rings. It is more important that the onion rings be stellar than the martini(s), but if there is place that has both, even better!

I am staying near Centennial Park, but willing to travel a bit for the best!

*edited to add, non-chain preferred. I can get Morton's or Ruth's Chris anywhere.

🌿 Join the FRESHEST Movement in Metro Atlanta!
If you thought Outkast was "So Fresh & So Clean," wait until you check out Belvedere Fresh - The Fresh Collective

DeKalb County’s first urban farm aquaponics operation, Belvedere Fresh – The Fresh Collective, is partnering with Peace Lutheran Church to bring sustainable urban agriculture right to the heart of Belvedere Park, Georgia.
Our core belief is simple: Fresh, healthy food options should be for everyone, not just a privileged few.

📢 Incredible Momentum & Community Buzz!
The response has been nothing short of amazing! With over a million views and hundreds of people voicing their support, this initiative is capturing incredible attention across the region. Because of this wave of excitement, I’ve been specially invited to attend a local block party in Belvedere this weekend to share our aquaponics business, connect with neighbors face-to-face, and talk about our shared vision for a healthier DeKalb County!

🐟 What We’re Growing & Offering
Using closed-loop aquaponics, we will produce sustainably raised fish (tilapia, trout, and catfish) alongside pesticide-free crops (cabbage, lettuce, and kale). Beyond our core harvests, we will offer fresh juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, CSA boxes, and more!

📚 Cultivating Community & Future Leaders
We aren't just growing food; we are growing our community's future:

Columbia High School Partnership: Helping students build and operate an aquaponics system of their own.

Free After-School Program: Providing local kids with free tutoring and a healthy snack, led by inspiring senior mentors from Columbia and Towers High Schools.

🏗️ Help Us Break Ground!
We are finalizing our land lease with Peace Lutheran Church and launching our crowdfunding campaign through pre-sales and exclusive "Founder" rewards (ranging from $35 to $5,000, securely processed via PayPal, Google, or Stripe. Every dollar raised goes directly toward permits, land clearing, crop testing, greenhouse construction, and our student partnerships. Our goal is to host a community groundbreaking during DeKalb County School’s Thanksgiving Break, featuring a 130-turkey giveaway for local families!

If you're attending the block party this weekend, come find me and say hello! Otherwise, come on board as a partner today and help us bring something truly special to South DeKalb. Reach out with any questions!
