Her real same was Susan Tomalin. She divorced Chris Sarandon but kept his name as she had already started her acting career with it. He was the Vampire in Fright Night. A classic!

Her brother was my high school newspaper advisor. A total badass. He said when you cover city hall, write the story, print it in the morning, and sit on the railing on the sidewalk leading in to city hall so you can look the council member in the eye.
And then he became an outdoors writer.

Personally, I thought her ex-husband, Chris Sarandon was much more attractive, back in the 1980's,
he was gorgeous as the Vampire in the original Fright Night horror movie with Roddy McDowall . That movie had an awesome Blusy 80's music soundtrack.
Thee only thing I liked Susan in was The RHPS in her iconic, iconic role, as Janet.
