Leave it to "Ex"-Soviet Russia and "Ex"-Communist China to make the world a worse place for no reason.
The Dystopia Dream Team.
And i say that as someone who grew up in the Eastern Bloc.

And Russia shoots missiles and rockets purposefully at apartment buildings, schools, playgrounds even...
Remote kamikaze (FPV) drones that the pilots fly in to civilians....

This is literally genocide and I'm tired of everyone pretending it's not

So are we just calling everything a genocide now or is there actually evidence of the systematic murder of an entire population?

That’s not what genocide means.

Your link explicitly states that genocide is not simply “systematic murder of an entire population”. So genocide is not synonymous with murdering an entire population. It obviously would include that act but it can also include any one of the five other categories listed. It doesn’t have to be all of them. And with Putin repeatedly saying he doesn’t believe Ukraine or Ukrainians are a seperate people from Russians and the systemic removal of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories and the coercion of people in those territories to obtain Russian passports, the actions of Russia in Ukraine are clearly within those categories. Not to mention the systemic war crimes of targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.

keep in mind that most deaths are very likely in currently occupied territories and russia will not release any numbers on civilian ukrainian casualties. in fact, I am very sure russia doesn't know either.
Mariupol alone is estimated to be the grave of >10k civilians
Edit: ah wait, I misread it and thought it's until 2026. at least 15k just in 2026 makes sense, probably higher because ^still applies
