Serious answers only please! What is this thing falling out of the sky?

My friend and I went to try and find it, but we think it landed on a roof and couldn’t track it down.

Additional video in the comments.

Looks like a 3 bladed propeller but it seems too light

u/Blix420 8h ago

Maybe a drone propeller?

The legendary Threegull

Whatever it is, is light enough for the wind to give it lift

That’s what’s throwing us off as well. The way it falls is so strange…

Corn husk floating on the wind is my guess. It's harvest season and I see the husk floating everywhere this time of year.

See, here’s a rational explanation!

That’s the foam rubber boomerang I threw back in 1987 taking its sweet time to come back

Was that the boom of 87

Definitely a corn husk

Between 2 and 4s did you see what looked like a meteor? Gulls need to stay away from planes.

There is all kinds of thinks zipping by all the way through the video.

Its a corn husk. Someone harvested a cornfield nearby and that corn husk flew a long way from home.

3

u/Affectionate_Boss344 10h ago

Looking at the second video you can see more little corn bits floating around. Its part of a husk from a corn.

3

u/AlienCornHusk13 8h ago

Yes, definitely not an alien corn husk UFO

Could be a disoriented or wounded large bird, like a seagull.

5

u/a-lost-sketchbook 11h ago

That’s what we had thought initially, but the other footage we have makes it look too symmetrical and I couldn’t identify the shape of any bird.

A kite?

u/AlienCornHusk13 8h ago

Could be..

Lesbian Seagulls...

You know what, I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. They’re probably just on their way to their Subaru Crosstreck

u/Fbomb77 10h ago

Looks like a bird maybe.

Wasn’t me

Wat

2

u/porkchop-sandwhiches 10h ago

Having a rough day.

2

u/AlienCornHusk13 8h ago

Heyyy Mr. Sandwiches, sorry to hear you’re having a rough day! It will get better for you!!! Also, I think it could very well be your last fuck floating in the wind and NOT an alien corn husk UFO!

Why could I hear the feather tune from Forrest Gump in my head!

1

u/AdSquare3489 10h ago

Flat spin. Seems seagulls share this design fault with the F-14.

Bird holding a too-heavy fish?

1

u/TunderMuffins 10h ago

Looks like the blade off someone’s home weather or wind electric generator. Usually plastic and fairly light. If it’s really windy I could see it doing that.

1

u/TunderMuffins 10h ago

Nvm. Watched the second video. It is indeed not what I suggested.

3

u/AlienCornHusk13 7h ago

We need to keep theorizing and get to the bottom of this! Because, it’s definitely NOT an alien corn husk!

Klingon Shuriken

u/Sad_Percentage_4503 9h ago

I wouldn't really call that falling.

1

u/notawolfdog 9h ago

I swear to God I thought turkeys could fly!

Your mama's coochie lips after I smashed that

That is a graphine oxide dispenser. You have been inhaling graphine oxide for decades and the nanoparticles are already in your body.

a seagull

Kehar, stupid bunny

Homemade tri-blade boomerang.

1

u/a-lost-sketchbook 11h ago

This is one of the explanations that we were contemplating as well

Airplane part?

It’s a certain type of bird they like doing that often where there dancing basically with it using energy on themselves letting the wind take em
