Finished my rewatch - what yre your headcanons for the future of our characters?

So, I just finished the series again. First off, completely based reaction from Pete, I would throw even bigger tantrum I think.

However, what do you think happened next for our characters as we know that warehouse stayed for decades to come.

Myka realized they really don’t belong together, Pete agrees and they go back to the brother sister relationship they were always meant to have.

Myka and HG had way more chemistry than Myka and Pete

100%. Pete would be a good wingman for Myka

Why do people say this? Did we watch the same show? There's an episode where they end up in bed, where they body swap, there's multiple allusions to romantic feelings from season 2 pretty much. It wasn't a sudden season 5 thing - people just didn't want it, for some reason.

and I'm saying this as a firm 'men and woman can be platonic friends' believer

They ended up in bed together because they both said it would be INSANE and when their memory wiped they'd know it was weird lmao

But that decision, that plot, was clearly a foreshadow.

Of a long platonic friendship yes

The problem is it seems as if the writers were forced to put in romantic bits to keep the “will they won’t they vibe”. The actors just do not have a romantic chemistry. They have a much better sibling chemistry. Besides, the sibling chemistry was just so fun! Romance does not have to be in every damn show. So many shows have died because of the forced romance. Staring right at you, Bones.

BONES didn't die wtf. It aired for 12 seasons. They tried to stop at ten and weren't allowed. Shocking example.

I do agree re their chemistry though, but it was always suggested.

The second they made go back on her childfree decision was the moment it died for me. Yes people can change their minds, but like was there even a discussion about it? I don’t remember, that was it for me.

I looked to Bones as a strong female role model that had her own thoughts and opinions. When they changed the basic core of her character just made me want to barf. Also, Mr. Fancy socks was way more creepy than he was as a vampire.

Yeah the childfree change was off... but I think that was to write in Deschanel's real world pregnancy.

Someone didn't watch the show properly.

Personally, my head cannon is that the adventures continue in a status quo. My favorite endings are ones in which the stories continue after we leave. I don’t really care for “everybody moves on”.

lol that Claudia stopped seeing the band guy and started officially dating Fargo

Personally, I consider that the warehouse has effectively ended up in China.

My head canon for Claudia is not how she appears in the show finale. I don't see Claudia ever wearing those type of cloths. While Mrs Fredrick was old school classy I see Claudia as an cypher that would blend in more the fringes of society.

I think she would be Goth layered with hand sleeves, dark jeans, a splash of color like shoes/t-shirt and black/dark navy hooded overcoat and lastly flowing red locks down to her shoulders.

NOW, for Pete and Myka. I see them as a couple but I am more on the bandwagon (if there is one) that at least one of their kids becomes a Warehouse Agent. It is just a matter of time.

What if she IS dressing to blend in with the fringes of society, it’s just that style has changed to the point that style is considered ‘fringe’.
