ApolloShell is a desktop shell for macOS I'm writing myself. It replaces the default menu bar with a sidebar and a dashboard popup (calendar, media controls, system stats, weather). Everything you see is my own code. And before anybody asks: yes, this is Caelestia for macOS.

What's next
Moving to a config-based framework: a single file defines everything, with no premade panels by default. A tiling WM branch is also in the works.

My new way of window management. It is, errr.. fishy.

Patched the Imgborders plugin to randomize the border based on the window's address, as well as display an image on each side of the border. Which correspond to the head, tail, etc.
As for the movement, used a noise function to float the windows seamlessly via hyprctl with a bash script. It also assigns a tag to indicate which direction the fish I mean the windows is heading towards, which the patch reads and mirrors the sprites accordingly.

I thought it was funny to dualboot PearOS and turn it into PersOS. Icons are by me, made on Inkscape using some of the iPhone ones I found on Pinterest as ref. I couldn't figure out how to skin Pinder and Launcher icons, as well as trash and the folder thing, sorry. I'm new to Linux.

In case you haven't noticed, I really like Freminet.

If I didn't screw up this post's formatting too bad (I hope I didn't), I will post my Windows one too.

My end goal here was to make a setup where 1. GUI apps that weren't already riced won't look atrocious (which was a consistent issue I faced when I tried to make it Everforest themed) and 2. there is a balance between practicality and aesthetic.
