Can someone tell me how scary these movies are? I would love to watch more Ronert Eggers movies, but I hate jumpscares and stuff

There are usually a couple of jump scares, but Eggers’ films are much more about pulling out horror and dread right to the limit. The horror comes from the rising anxiety over the situation the characters are in, rather than just spiking your heart rate with cheap scares.

He's more on the side of atmospheric and psychological horror than silly jump scares. You will feel the uneasiness and helplessness of the characters
