Its literally part of the rules. Posting the names of deceased children is an automatic ban.

Now we have a highly followed trial going on and the name of a woman is involved. Stop posting it. We have been inundated with posts on her name.

Thank you.

Yes we know its bad. Terrible. This baby name is being used as an attention grab as most all influencer/celebrity babies are. We are getting inundated with these submissions and all yall want to focus on is what this childs mother gets up to.

Its on the banned list now.

A little girl we met at the park had this name today 😬. Her mom asked me how I spell my daughter’s name and I said the “usual way”. I asked if she spelled “Persephone” different and she spelled this tragedeigh for me. I didn’t know what to say.

Reading a playbill for an upcoming play being done by our local community theater.

This play has several parts for children and one role is being played by a "Mauleigh" Smith(not actual last name)

Their parents should be place in a stockade and have cabbages thrown at them.

My niece’s name is ‘Abbegayle’. Is that a tragedeigh enough for here, because I’ve been looking at it for soooooo long… I loved the name until I saw this.
Edit for spelling ‘niece’

Looking through Instagram at old enemies and this popped up and I couldn't believe anyone could do such a thing to a baby, but they did. Is this as bad as i think?

is it a tragedeigh? is it a tragedeigh if we consider unusual names from the 1910s? like Normal or Chlorine?

i recently stumbled across historical baby name data from 1918 in huffpost and noticed some... interesting choices parents made over a century ago.

two notable examples i found were Normal and Chlorine.

since "tragedeighs" are usually modern misspelled names (like Khlorreene), do you consider weird/unfortunate standard-spelling names from 100 years ago to be "tragedies", or do they fit into the same category?

is it a tragedeigh? Why are we capitalizing random letters?

Post image

I know Devlin or Devlon or however it’s supposed to be spelled is not very common but is a rather normal name but why the random capitol L. Not sure if it makes it bad enough to classify as a tragedeigh but I for sure rolled my eyes reading it.

general discussion Is it rude to say name is pronounced the way it’s spelled?

Considering baby names and ran across Jayma pronounced “Jay-ma” literally like it’s spelled. So many people see it and say “Ja-mya” or some other abomination like “Ja-mi-e-ah.”

Don’t want to give a beautiful name that will get tragedeigh pronunciations or is that just a sign of the times/education system/reading level?

is it a tragedeigh? Rosember

My kids met a little boy at a new playground today. Rosember 😅 didn't ask the thought behind it. Kid was running around in his diaper sippin on blue stuff while his parents were puffing away on some cigs.

What is it? Cross between rose and november?

My friend's name is Krystyne (aka Christine), and she's currently annoyed about it. The first comment said, "blame your parents" and he's not wrong. She goes by Krysty (Christy)
