Ive only had black cats previously so I'm new to the torti/calico world. We originally named her a calico on her veterinary paperwork but in case she ever escapes the confines of her pampered life- I find it important to have good description.

I've had the roughest day- non stop stress, dealing with crap drivers all over the place, plasma donation being slow and painful compared to usual, appointment to get my elbow surgery booked, dealing with incompetence on the phone relating to insurance...

Anyway. Been getting super down and fed up at the fact that I barely make enough to survive, especially with my hours cut recently.. but. Every day, this adorable old girly (she's 14) puts a smile on my face and grounds me, even when I think I'm absolutely going to explode or fall into a total depression. I can't thank the universe enough for blessing me with this sweetheart, and I truly hope she lives another 5+ years so that I can continue keeping my head up amidst the disaster that is our country right now..

I'm sure plenty of y'all know exactly how I feel. Here's to our amazing kitties 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

i always thought she was just a calico but she does look like a tortie too

When our girl got out five years ago, she unexpectedly had kittens (we were told she had been spayed before we got her . . . I never thought to get that double checked). Only ONE was a Tortie, then there was a black tabby, a few orange, and several blond tabbies. I posted the other day about how massive one of the blond tabbies is, but here is the rest of them.

Is anyone else’s tortie or tortico oddly self aware and WAY too smart for their own good? Hayley is on Ativan for it. Hayley (first pic) is 9 and Evie is 17 months old and nothing but trouble!

Got Miss Maple 1 week ago. Is about 4/5 months old. She’s definitely keeping us on our toes. But we love her and couldn’t imagine life without her.

Her back looks very tortie, but she has a fully white belly, chest, and feet.

I’m 1 years old. Vet says I’m a Diluted Tortie but I’m not so sure. Maybe Diluted Calico or I think Diluted Tortico. What do yall think. My underside is mostly white. Thanks

Has white patches on her belly but not anywhere else! I have seen this on other dilute torties so I figured it just happens sometimes even if they are not truly torticos
