That team looks like hot garbage. I’m sorry Naz.

There are gonna be cheeks. Melo was their entire engine and Miles Bridges was a huge part of their success

They are gona be so bad lol. Naz is gonna get massively exposed on the defensive end too with no Gobert. 100% bottom feeders.

I think Naz will show out really well & make rips like this age poorly
It's kinda wild how frequently people are quick to jump on this take, every time he's mentioned now. Maybe it's just you every time idk
Edit, lol y'all are genuinely crazy, down voting mild praise of our boy. You need to find God

It’s def just me.
I love naz but Rudy masked his biggest issues. Now he’s like the 3rd option

Yeah Naz was a great role player for us, but that’s about it. Streaky shooter who can’t defend to save his life. I’ll miss him either way

I think his robust driving game will resurface this season, it felt like it disappeared last year & I think it's a huge reason he's been effective. Perhaps it was lost partly due to Randle and weird spacing?
Defensively it will be a challenge for sure. But I don't think he's some massive negative there, in a good scheme he'd be ok without Rudy
Not as a center obviously, he should not be in that role ever again. I assume Charlotte knows this. Maybe against backups

Yall are really letting Brandon miller fly under the radar

u/Duster_beattle 2d ago
I got more hopes for Kon than Miller, I just don’t see him putting it all together to capitalize on his potential. Kon in his rookie year showed more than almost everyone on that team imo.

Brandon has averaged 20 ppg on good efficiency for 2 seasons in a row now and nobody has batted an eye

u/Duster_beattle 2d ago
So did Austin reeves and you don’t see me freaking out about a team being lead by him.

Austin reaves led his team and won a playoff series without Luka. That’s not bottom feeder activity

Imagine if we still had Naz at the 4 and just did a 1-1 with Lamelo and Julius. My god we'd be unstoppable

Should have tried to trade Julius last year but the cap wouldn't have worked out

I'm pretty happy with how things worked out. Kuminga is alright, but getting lamelo the way we did was probably the only way. Naz is beloved and I'm sure Charlotte considered that in this scenario. Hornets are gonna love this dude.

I mean it seems like Randle tanked his value so much that nobody would accept that trade. Maybe it could’ve happened if Randle played better after the all star break

Man I feel bad for the dude. I feel like we've all been in a spot where youre cool with a group of people and then have to move away and try and find that some connection in new people. Its a weird spot to be in and its always awkward for a bit. Hoping he's happy though

So weird.
That team would be super good with a legit point guard. Someone like Lamelo would be perfect.

It’s gonna be awesome when he plays here and a “Naz Reid!” chant breaks out

MIP or All-Star if the Hornets somehow stay above .500! (Not gonna happen, but Naz is gonna go off regardless)
