JD Vance (Oct 1, 2026):

"When Angie Nixon calls herself a socialist, I think the right response is, ‘Get the hell out of here.' You don’t belong in America, if those are your views."

Angie's response:

"I don't wanna COUCH my words here: I know JD Vance, his eyeliner, and absent Ashley Moody are used to running away from people when things get tough because they care more about themselves and their billionaire buddies than the people they represent. But this is my home.

The most ordinary man imaginable came to my home state to tell me to 'get out of America' while they enjoyed the comfort of buildings my ancestors built. Imagine standing on the shoulders of the ppl who built this country & then telling their descendants they don't belong here.

Wanting lower property insurance & healthcare for families isn't un-American; it's what working people deserve. They can take their tech-bro cash and their weird, intrusive agenda somewhere else, because I'm not going any damn place.

I don't go high when they go low. I get LOUD. Because the soul and humanity of this country are at stake."

JD Vance is a punkass bitch. Great response from Rep Angie Nixon, especially the couch reference.

Calling out the eyeliner while standing her ground is chef's kiss levels of petty, gotta respect that energy.

If I lived in Florida I'd vote for her.

I live in Florida and am stoked to finally have someone to vote for at a state level that I’m passionate about. I really really hope that we get the turnout because we actually have a chance to make this happen. If that did come to pass I may just break out my Trump hamburger-from-Heaven champagne early!

I do, and I did.

Me and all the other socialists just want to let JD know how glamorous she was here.

It could still be this way, bb girl. You don't have to hide it on our side 🥹🥺

It is crazy that Chuck Schumer is not backing her up.

u/ardent_hellion 7h ago

New Yorker here. So many of us are beyond sick of Schumer. That's where I really really want AOC, but I'm not the boss of her.

Great response! I've said it on this sub before, but going high when they go low doesn't work.

Glad Angie Nixon's taking the gloves off. Fight back and watch them crumble.

JD is a loud-mouth bitch who hides behind money. Couldnt slap his way out of a wet paper bag.

It only takes a quick 15 minute read or documentary watch on the transcontinental railroad to learn once immigrants finish building something they are instantly kicked out and set to the side. The Chinese learned this first hand

What is most amazing to me is that our US military is a pure socialist institution. Evrebody is taxed, to provide for the common defense, eqaully. You don't see them calling for bake sales to fund the military, the insane costs are fine with them.

Lmao. “Eyeliner.” “The most ordinary man imaginable.” 😂😂

u/Thro_e-_wa 20h ago

Cool own but what are your policy goals and means to reach them? Not sorry but instead of being enamored with these social media owns focus on what they're trying to do and how they'll do them. That's why Zohran is popular and effective. Stop talking to talk, start, walking the walk

5

u/GraceJoans 19h ago edited 19h ago

oh, don't be sorry.

but you know, just like you wrote this insightful comment on the internet, i'm sure Nixon has likewise written her platform out somewhere on the internet, like maybe at the link to her website the bot added above.

or, when all else fails, Google works, too, dude.

Thank you decided to Google it. 1. Medicare for all is failed concept. Most countries that try it get push back. A universal Healthcare (public option all citizens are eligible for) with the option for people to add private insurance is usually more prefered. 2. Free child care & paid family and sick leave i agree with 3. National Rent Freeze and Moratorium on Evictions: the issue is rent is to much now and private equity will only keep buying up houses to rent out if all your d3ojng is building more. Increasing public housing, and capping rent based on consumer price indexes of area are proven policies in Austria and South Korea. 4. A universal jobs program with inflation-adjusted wages: Countries that have better cost of living vs real wage usually dont have policies that control wages. What they usually have are strong unions that handle those issues. She does discuss unions but that needs to be the priority

u/Thro_e-_wa 17h ago

But i still stand on my original point these type of back and forths from our politicians are juvenile and y'all supporting it are no different then those who watch reality TV shows for drama.

u/BilboStaggins 15h ago

You think she isnt?
