Isn’t this a crime?

“LLC is reporting 52.65 megawatts of electricity during peak electrical demand and 13.299 megagallons of water between cooling towers, evaporative systems and site operations in the last year. That totals out to 13 million gallons of water.
For context, 13 million gallons is enough to fill around 20 Olympic-size swimming pools, and is less than half of what the City of Lincoln reports using on Sept. 29.”

Fireball data center used 547M gallons which is like 5 golf courses. Or 5000 homes.

Golf courses and homes aren't evaporating the water, though. At least normal water use puts it back into the water table.

Well some of the water goes back to the water table, watering grass has evaporation and runoff losses.

Yes, tell me how the evaporation loss of grass watering compares to evaporative cooling.

Better yet let's not farm lawn grass either.
