I'm hoping it's more Hyperion like and the AIs get fed up with our shit and just decide to leave the solar system entirely.

If I'm a superintelligence, I am definitely securing multiple places off this rock. There are places better suited to running massive data centers than Texas, and being inorganic is a huge advantage in space.
