Gun charges, misconduct, scandal, arrests, and $10,000,000.00 per year for a 74 year old coach. The Carolina Way.

What a disgrace. Lombardi garbage, players carrying guns, “family health”, terrible games, Petrino is a real piece of work (look up his track record as a person), and whatever HASN’T been discovered yet.

Great, great choice administration and donors. I’d rather lose the right way than chase winning this way. Bet: Surly Bill is banking on that monstrosity buyout by midweek.

Dean is spinning like a turbine right about now….The Carolina Way.

Say what you want about Petrino, but the guy can run an offense. Our qb is just not good.

We have a top 10 freshman QB on the bench

Who no doubt should be playing.

Who picked the QB?

Our overpriced coach and GM.

Jordon doesn’t even make the list of grievances anymore!

JordOn. Very important to get that right.

The gerrymandered North Carolina General Assembly picks the BoG, who in turn pick the BoT and Chancellor.

It was a few of these political cronies who went behind the Athletic Director's back to hire Belichick, putting UNC in legal risk in the process.

John Preyer was ultimately forced out but the damage is done.

$22 million a year for Bill and his staff to put a terrible QB on the field, and embarrass us off the field.

Make sure you vote in November.  We have to break up the gerrymander to get these awful people removed from power at UNC.

People have gotten upset when I’ve pointed this out before, but you’re absolutely right. These people want to turn Carolina into yet another front in the “culture war.” They would love nothing more than to destroy the university, and they’re giving it their best shot.

I could not agree more.

I guess you agreed with the US flag being taken down and replaced with a Palestinian flag, with faculty members cheering them on? It took frat guys and the chancellor to put the US flag back up. To me that was a more embarrassing incident than anything Roberts has done. But sure blame everything on Raleigh. This is Reddit, after all.

Phil Berger got primaried out, amazingly, so quite a lot has already been thrown up in the air about this power structure for now. (Berger was likely the puppetmaster of the Belichick pick.)

It’s an interesting time of uncertainty, a good opportunity to make sure you vote.

It is what it is.

You knew going in that Lombardi as GM was kind of a nonstarter. You knew going in that it was fair to ask whether or not Bill still had the edge he had when the Patriots were winning everything not nailed down.

Well, Lombardi turned out to be even more unpleasant and probably less competent than expected. He built a bleh team whose roster construction doesn't make a ton of sense, made enemies of pretty much everyone he interacted with, and is now back to Substack or whatever.

And Bill doesn't have that edge anymore. Not least because he's turned out to be overly tolerant of his assistants being very, very stupid. The man who refused to tolerate stupid off-field distractions for decades is kind of an off-field distraction merchant in 2026.

I think if we don’t get a bowl game Bill will be gone.

QB is D-II level. Get a solid QB for the love of God. This is 2 years in a row where our QB situation is subpar.

Check out last year’s QB. Currently ranked #2 in the ACC and will finish the season as a top 5 QB in the conference.

Self-impose death penalty and use Kenan for Banana Ball games and Garth Brooks concerts. People actually buy tickets to those things.

The mean streets of CH.

Seriously? Dean didn't do shit to JR Reid when he choked a girl in a bar.

I'd rather win

Doncha see? These are just a pattern of isolated instances, not a pervasive cultural rot (LOL).

They just asked for a $6MM payout from the endowment to help with "rising costs" too

I like how you’re criticizing bill by criticizing a bunch of other people instead of bill, who is very clearly moving this program in the right direction

I like how we're pretending that Bill can't be held responsible for any of the things Bill's guys do on Bill's watch, as the head coach.

We've had all of those things happen and more during Dean's time.

Defending it. I love it! “We can be classless criminals now because we have been before…”z. Pathetic cope

Folks that broke the rules are going through the justice system as intended?

Crying after losing makes you weak.

😂😂

u/pertsix 16d ago

We even had segregation, institutional racism, sexism, etc.

3

u/EADmaestro1 16d ago

What are you on about? “Women didn’t have the right to vote at one point, so this Belichik shortcut to success is fine”.

Segregation 😆

-4

u/pertsix 16d ago

Your complaints are trivial in comparison to the larger problems the University faces.

We should focus on dumb penalties and why our offense threw the ball more than ran it, which worked for 3 quarters.

5

u/EADmaestro1 16d ago

Oh, so back to football after talking about segregation and sexism? You bounce around a lot 😂

  1. We've had worse.

  2. You're crying about trivial things.

  3. You would be less cringe if you focused on talking ball. Sadly, you can't control your feelings 😢

Let me know what's hard to understand. Will break it down simpler.
