Discussion Admin Blocked

Good Day All.

I hope i am on the right group for this question.

I am in possesion of a car that i bought over from a lady, this lady immigrated to Amerika.

She has left me the logbook and signed off yellow forms, but the licensing offices told me that she is admin blocked and the car can not be moved to my name. The license is a few years behind also, but i will pay the penalties, however, i am also willing to pay the admin block.

They refuse to allow me to pay the admin block and uplift it, she must do so in person.

I can not get hold of her in Amerika.

I apologise if my grammer is not the best, i have tried to explain it the best i can.

Please, is there someone that could shed some light?

The admin block is propably due to her having outstanding traffic tickets or other outstanding vehicle related fees.

The block cannot be lifted unless she is present or, if you trace her, you can get an power of attorney from her to deal with this.

Alternatively, approach an attorney and ask him/her to apply for a declaratory order that confirm that you are the owner.
