We could be a mirror image of my little old lady. She passed at 19. They truly are a gift. My daughters never met her, and I bet they are tired of me talking about her. They now have a 7 yr old Pitt, but no dog was ever like my Mitzy.
8 yrs old is still pretty young for a schipperke.
I’m so sorry for your loss , my schipperkes follow me around all the time and I can imagine how must this hurts , they always just want to be with you all the time.

It stinks but people repost memorial posts all the time to farm karma so I can see why they thought it might be true. Can you imagine how hard it is to see the pet you said goodbye to reposted again while you’re grieving? In the sharpei sub a gut wrenching memorial post was reposted multiple times in one year and the OP had to stop using the sub because it was too hard to see.
Yeah it’s surprisingly common. I just posted a foster I have looking for surgical vet recommendations and a week later she was all over Facebook with a bunch of lies attached. Someone trying to get money out of people I guess. I never thought about watermarking pictures but I need to with my foster at least.
