Discussion What Resistance Game Do You Have The Strongest Connection With?
For me, it's Resistance 1. I remember thinking it was just another World War II watching the intro when I was younger, and then the fucking Chimera started showing up.
I got really into the lore too. I remember looking up all kinds of stuff about the world and the Chimera. I fucking loved that shit.
I also have a lot of love for Resistance 3 as well.
What Resistance game do you have the strongest connection with and why?

2 by far,
People had their gripes with it but I felt its story and grim dark horror was peak. Plus the multiplayer was fire.

Fall of Man gave me such ps2 medal of honor vibes for some reason. Felt like home on a new console, 3 blew my expectations I was so ready to see a fourth by the end but ya know

Resistance 2. I discovered and started the Resistance saga with the game Resistance Fall Of Man, I love the game, which makes me have a special affection for it, however, the game I like the most is Resistance 2, it's where I have the most fun, and where the community makes me feel at home, which also makes me have a special affection for the game, but in a different way, if I have to choose one, I choose Resistance 2 until the end.

Tbh - it’s 2 even though the first game was my first PS3 game. On 2 it was my favorite FPS story I had played to that point, and also spent copious amounts of hours in co-op and MP.
Fantastic game
That’s not to say bad things about 3 either, which was a fantastic game in my opinion in its own right.

- I bought it in Venezuela when I was 10. A friend of my mom gave me a bill that I think was worth around $2 at the time, and I went to a secondhand store. I didn’t know which game to pick, but I saw the cover of Resistance 2 and it cost exactly what I had. I never expected that, more than 10 years later, it would still be my favorite game. It’s really nostalgic

- It was so epic at the time. Though I did run through 3 on launch day and enjoy it, the scale wasn’t there.

Either 1 or 2. 1 terrified me as a new ps3 owner. Then I got into it and life changed. 2 really felt like I got a handle on it all and enjoyed it way more than

2, even though 1 was such a phenomenal game. I was totally blown away with the MP at the time and couldn’t get enough of it

I think it be 3 for me. I was working at GameStop when it came out and I remember seeing all the displays and posters we had for it and being so hyped to finally play it when it released.

1, it one of the games in the collection that my father gave alongside his Ps3. Binged play and finished it with my sister and my mother, whom has long since passed away due to cancer.

2, I was soooo good at that multiplayer. Join a match and rise to the top of the leaderboards. Strafing between rooftops and tagging enemies with the bullseye. Two headshots with the anti material rifle to the head from across the map.

Fall of Man. It’s what got me into online gaming and I have fond memories playing it with my sister. I’ve played the story so many times I’ve lost count. It was my first PlayStation 3 game. I was completely obsessed with it.

- The story was told really well. Getting to know all the ins and outs about the mystery of the chimera was very interesting. The multiplayer was great as well. 40 player deathmatches with open voice chats for the whole lobby. Resistance 2 and 3 always felt like a resistance game. But never hit that same spot.
I also played retribution. Fun game. But it was honestly more of a gimmick with a resistance story.

2, because the multi-player was my life.
