Resistance 2 is the best online experience, I'm eager to be able to play R2 multiplayer again, just thinking that every time I get home I'll be able to play R2 online again like before, that's going to be fantastic!

Also, I remember really loving the density of the multiplayer maps, I remember a lot of My friends getting onto mag and battlefield at the time, and I just was not ready to leave resistance 2 man

Post title wasn’t worded correctly. This is RPCS3, an emulator of PS3.

You won’t get any trophies from playing it.

Edit: nvm, it is PS3.

It's possible to contribute funding, but only in a general way, not just for a specific game, what I suggest is that you say you're a fan of Resistance 2 and would like to contribute financially, but don't say it's to speed up the project, because they work on these projects in their free time and don't like to be rushed.

Yes, both are available, you can play cooperative mode (PvE) and competitive mode (PvP), it's been amazing to play Resistance 2's multiplayer again.

Oh I know, truly, I wish that I could get my old PlayStation account back up and running, I'm sure it's long deleted now, but man the hours I have racked in resistance 2 rivals my fallout playthroughs, and I am a die-hard fallout fan LOL. I had fully maxed out spec ops, soldier and medic, and let me tell you, I was to the point with the soldier specifically, that I would just melt through hordes with the Laark, I still remember some of the map glitches when fighting Titans, And I remember one of my favorite multiplayer maps of all time, being Cocodrie (honestly don't remember if that's spelled right, that is straight off of memory LOL) I'm telling you buddy, that game is about to be a problem for me again LMAO. I remember being up all night, class the next morning and just all I could think about was my next co-op run for MP match

I understand you, I also played many hours in Resistance 2's multiplayer, sometimes all night too, it was crazy because of school the next day, you should create a new PlayStation account and join us on PS3, or even on PC using the RPCS3 emulator, I also restarted my cooperative mode classes and am playing everything again, It's difficult initially, but it's a lot of fun, and definitely worth playing.

Join the Resistance Fans server on Discord, I share news and events there, and in the future, when the servers are available to everyone, I plan to create events for us all to play Resistance 2 online together.

It would be amazing if the multiplayer mode from Resistance 3 returned in the future, that way we would have access to all the multiplayer modes from the Resistance games.
