Considering the movement and stuff, I’d say this is likely testing stuff. Servers are for sure not back online, this is being tested on RPCS3, a PS3 emulator for PCs.

I will keep a tab on this. I would recommend people to not join any Discord servers to find out more, or whatnot.
Getting the multiplayer to work on PC, while using the emulator would be insane, but I got zero idea of how would that even work. I would assume that you would have to somehow emulate PSN servers on emulated PC version of the PS3 game, so you could login to your account, or make workaround of it. ( again, no idea of how would that work) I know it is possible to emulate PSN on FoM ( PS3), but I don't know, if I could do the same on the PC ( I can actually test R:FoM, or can I? I forgot if RCPS or whatever it's called runs on Linux. I'll research it later.)
I want to see more, but I am carefully optimistic/sceptical.

Also, I'd like to point out one thing: On Youtube, (@)KevinJLandry, now using the name VGFury. That account was inactive for circa 6 years before starting to pump out this content, which is quite different compared to surfing video, and some other random videos.
Stay cautious.

It's all real, within Discord, the PS Rewired server team wrote that they were part of it and that they've been working to bring Resistance 2's multiplayer back, it's currently still in the testing phase, but to find out what it will be like and have an identical experience, it's already possible to play Resistance Fall Of Man online again through private servers, it works on PS3 and PC through the RPCS3 emulator, it's definitely worth trying.
