I 21 F went out with my friends this weekend. We go to a bar and this guy bought us more drinks. We leave the bar, I am super super drunk he had somehow convinved me that he would take me home. The plan was to get to his apartment, he use the bathroom, and then he takes me home. I had waited outside his apartment so he could use the bathroom but he told me to come in. Again super super drunk and I had told him I needed to lay down so he made up his bed for me. Idk what happened next and next and next. It felt like that one scene from Obsession where Nicky was engaging in intercourse without being there. Idk how long this went on for or the extent of what we did. I have some recoleation but not most everything I remember tho was within my own boundaries. Throughout the night I repeatedly told him I was not going to f*ck and that I was too drunk to be there. Somehow in convinging me to get to his place he promised me we wouldnt do anything more than makeout, which we had been kissing at the bar already. So im drunk, shit is happening and as I start sobering up I realize he's inside of me. At first Im confused because he took my tampon out (I was on my period another thing I kept bringing up ) so he could fuck and then immediatly after I start wailing my eyes out. I do feel disgustingly horrible, this has added alot of mental termoile to my life. I ended up going to the hospital and got a rape kit and filled a report. Idk what to do? Like this man is 28 years old, has a phd, and still chose to take advantage of a girl drunk. Ig idk how to heal now or move foward. I do have his full name, address, phone number, where he works but I dont want to do anything that would get back to me. Pls help, or send hopeful words, or anything idk

I am so sorry this happened to you op, it sounds like that was his plan. Get a girl drunk an do what he wants, even if what you did was within your normal boundaries doesn't mean you consented.

You did say you filed a report, right...? You got a rape kit...if it helps, tell him you don't remember much, and get him to confess over the phone, or text messages, or, if you meet up, record the conversation on another device, not on your phone. I genuinely, seriously believe at this point, they're assaulting women out of habit. Really.
