No Paywall Republican Senator Says Trump Goes ‘Zero To A-Hole In 3 Seconds’

"That's my secret, I'm always an asshole"
•
u/HyperFreaky 5h ago
Republican Senator says Trump goes “Zero to A-hole in 3 seconds” and I’m supposed to be shocked?
We’ve ALL known he’s an a-hole for 8 years. You knew when he mocked a disabled reporter. You knew when he bragged about grabbing women. You knew on Jan 6th when he tried to overthrow the election.
This anonymous courage is PATHETIC. Say it with your chest and your vote, or shut up. You’re still going to vote for every single judge and bill he wants. You’re not brave, you’re complicit and trying to save your book deal for after he dies.
•
u/thepartypantser 4h ago
Where's the 8 years come from? I hate to break it to you but the mocking of the reporter was 2015, Access Hollywood was 10 years ago this month.
Trump has been a visible asshole for far longer. His support of birtherism goes back 15 years, and people liked him for that because he was an asshole. I mean you could drag up the whole thing where he tried to throw a grandmother out of her house using eminent domain in the early 90s to show he was an asshole. That's personally when I remember thinking "God this guy is a prick"
10 to 1 says that Kennedy likes Trump because he knows he's an asshole. Because that's what these GOP dipshit think equates to power.

We GenXers have known Trump was an asshole since 1987. He built his entire brand around being a ruthless cutthroat real estate mogul; it's been his entire shtick basically forever.
•
u/Specialist-Jello7544 40m ago
Yep, Trump was 33 years old when the elderly lady was evicted from her apartment. This was 1979 or 1980-ish. There was a newspaper article about this incident.
So he’s been an asshole for a very long time.
•
u/ProtectionVirtual225 5h ago
Is Kennedy bragging or complaining? The GOP owns Trump. If he's making their life miserable, they should do something about it.
•
u/Beginning-Chart-9229 4h ago
Kennedy takes the 3 seconds to realize he is an asshole. There, FIFY
•
u/HalPaneo 3h ago
That's why he put that poster board down so quick the other day and refused to pick it back up
•
u/TaterForming 3h ago
Nah those 3 seconds are being used so he can code-switch to his Foghorn Leghorn accent.
•
•
u/HiddenRouge1 3h ago
Even when the Republicans start to agree with you, all you have is vitriol. This is why so many resist even pointing out flaws. The opposition hates them so much that you'd think it were total war.
•

u/uhhhhhhhhhhhyeah 5h ago
Some say the biggest asshole.
•
u/oneplusetoipi 5h ago
Two asshole physiology: inside the diaper and in the middle of the orange tumor.
•
u/DeterminedThrowaway 5h ago
Big, strong men with tears in their eyes come up to him and say "Sir! We've never seen anyone be such an asshole, how do you do it?". Sleepy Joe could never
•
u/secret-glance 5h ago
Bold of him to assume he ever starts at zero.
•
u/Few_Acanthocephala30 5h ago
Surely he’s a little bit less of an asshole while the paid actors for his rallies and PR stunts are busy glazing him.
He’s such a dumb and demented narcissist, I wonder if he even realizes it’s the same people going up to him with great big tears in their eyes. But at the same time it’s not like he’s one to mingle with complete strangers he views beneath him.

Trump, an asshole and a piece of shit walk in a restaurant. The host asks "table for one?"
How is this possible??

Because he doesn't let Elon and RFK Jr. sit with him when the cameras aren't on /s

Funny, poll number show how unpopular the GOP is and now they are starting to criticize him. Where were you a damn decade ago? Absolute cowards.
•
u/CrashNowhereDrive 5h ago
They criticized him plenty during the 2016 primary. Then they all bent the knee and started sucking him off when it turned out the MAGA base would primary them and level death threats. They let a cult take over their party.
And it's their fault because the primed their voters with so much propaganda and lies that it was all set for a cult leader to take it over
•
u/simic947 4h ago
They'll turn on trump after the midterms. They'll just be subtle about it as not to scare off MAGA voters
•
u/kemicalkontact 3h ago
His own VP compared him to Hitler. Now he sucks Trump off any chance he gets. They have no standards.
•
u/HonestDisguise 2h ago
I think JD is just hoping he’ll take over the top spot and then talk about how reasonable he really is and how he wanted to do things better but was constrained.
If you’re into power, it’s hard to say no to being a bit of arterial plaque away from it.
•
u/m0ngoos3 5h ago
They'll criticize him, but will still obey. It's the Susan Collins strat. Likely including the bribery.
•
u/Delicious-History486 5h ago
Crazy isn't it? The RINO faction was putting up the usual uncharismatic crew and this guy was bombastic and gonna drain the swamp.
•
u/Lollipopsaurus 2h ago
The GOP have no real principles. Trump was their best tool tool. He brought out bigger crowds than the GOP could dream of. His golden touch would get anyone elected simply because he mentioned them. Now that his perception is leaning negative, they don't want him anymore.
Trust me that if by some miracle, Trump gains in popularity, they'll want him around again.

How did Senator John Kennedy vote on Trump's impeachment after the January 6th insurrection?
Well, at least John doesn't mind when Trump is an asshole!
•
u/DarraignTheSane 3h ago
I think people don't understand... when he says Trump "can go from zero to asshole in 3 seconds", he's saying it with admiration.
•
u/shadowriku459 California 5h ago
No excuses, fuck the gop.
Go VOTE blue. There is no excuses this time!
•
u/hamsterfolly America 5h ago
Haha Kennedy is trying to deflect from his participation in Schmitt’s humiliation.
•
u/Unfair_Web_8275 4h ago
Just so we all are on the same page, Senator Kennedy recently assisted Senator Shmitt in his attempt to catch Jack Smith with the embarrassing basketball game accusation.

Kennedy is actually really smart, which makes him one of the worst in all of this shit. He puts on a dummy foghorn leghorn accent to appeal to his base and he knows exactly the harm he is doing. Fuck him so much.
•
u/Ghettoman1315 5h ago
A man came up to me with great conviction and tears in his eyes and said to me “ Mr President you are one big beautiful asshole” .
•
u/Lanky_Girrll 5h ago
This is the guy they want back in the White House. A man who can’t keep his temper for three seconds. Pathetic.
•
u/ChefChopNSlice Ohio 5h ago
Yes and they’re both proud of it as they continue to rubber stamp all of his demands.

u/ObsidianRafter 3h ago
Everyone who voted for Trump did so knowing 100% that he is a asshole.
His entire brand is “Asshole”. It’s the whole point of his presidency.
They love him because he is an asshole and he gives them permission to be assholes too.

Every Republican is an asshole. The Tea Party dragged all but the callow and corrupt before Robespierre in primaries years ago.

Like with most abusers, his "zero" mode is a facade and the second he loses control the real face comes out.
He has always been this way.

Trump went full a-hole when he hit puberty, and he's never reverted since.

Kennedy must be on daylight savings still because Trump is never not an ahole and it certainly doesnt take 3 seconds.

Even a Republican senator is saying it out loud now. How bad do you have to be for your own party to call you an a-hole?

•
u/AustinBaze 5h ago
I'm pretty sure they both have been stuck on "a**hole" for most of their political lives. If you're waiting for the good side of either of these two, you'll be waiting a long time. The term waste of skin comes to mind.

He’s made his career out of bullying people. Why they are afraid of standing up to him is baffling. Guess they want a few crumbs from his dinner table

He's definitely a zero, and if trump bends over and shows his enlarged anus, you'll see the same zero.

•
u/carthuscrass 4h ago
What are you talking about? He's 100% asshole 100% of the time. He's a sapient anus.

u/chaseinger Foreign 4h ago
no senator, i do not care for your nuanced assessment of the fine senator and how you disagree how the president handled this matter.
you helped put the orange clown there. you thought it'll be awesome to trust a rabid raccoon sporting the mental capacity of a fruit fly with the nuclear launch codes.
you don't get to clutch your pearls. you wanted this, now have it. fuck you very much.

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy must have something like reverse dementia, as he spends most of his time being a Trump/MAGA enabler, but them he has these bursts of clarity like this where he publicly recognizes Trump is a jerk.
