The Republicans are actually spending a remarkable amount on races in Arkansas this year. I'm not crazy enough to say we will win, but this isn't a done deal for Cotton. Every indication is that states as red as Kansas are potentially in the splash zone of this oncoming wave, especially if we get a favorable October Surprise.
As for election rigging, well... If you listen to the vibes coming from the trump administration's inner circle, they seem to think the wave will be too big to let them keep the house even if they rig it, and are quietly starting to lean away from the idea as a result. Most of the damage that will be done probably already has been done in the gerrymander, the ballot purges and the supreme Court cases, which is all just the same kind of rigging they've been doing forever.

It's stupider than you possibly imagine. Trump thinks that humans have to climb up to tall buildings and literally physically change clocks.
One eternal truth: Trump doesn't understand metaphor or synecdoche or any abstraction ever. When somebody says "we have to change the clocks twice a year" he thinks it means actually removing one clock and installing a different one.
So he believes there are workers twice a year climbing high towers and performing physical maintenance. He also doesn't realize the clocks are no longer there, he only remembers from far back in the past before cell phones and there were more public clocks mounted on buildings.
Like how he truly thinks the people claiming political asylum are literally escaped lunatics like Hannibal Lecter character, and why would the evil Democrats want them?
