When I saw this on Friday, my first reaction was “why is somebody landing an assistant-level role newsworthy” then I remembered that this was Reddit.
My second reaction was that fortunately for her, she’s young enough that she can put off the Botox and lip fillers and not go full Mar-a-lago face before Trump kicks the bucket.
Now I’m not so sure - she certainly is getting a head start.

Plastic surgeons have previously commented that the "MAGA look" is an actual procedure thing. Like lip enlargement, fake tan, adjusting the nose, all that stuff. It is a real thing among conservatives close to the president, apparently.
For some weird, unknown reason, Trump really has a fetish for the entire "big lips, fake spray tan, nosejob" kind of aesthetic. So the women around him get treatments to more subtly reflect that and get into his good graces. It's the 21st century version of wearing a powdered wig and a corset and an in-group thing to get noticed.
Personally, I don't get it. I think it just looks insanely bad and fake.

Without knowing full details of that, I could see where some version of that story could be more sympathetic to her.
Then I saw the Fuck Joe Biden t-shirt photo. I still don’t know any more about her firing but I’m much more inclined to be less sympathetic.
And this just shows how much the Trump administration is a sad joke, at our expense. Does anyone in their right mind hire someone for a communications/PR role with such poor judgment to proudly display that on social media?
