General Viruses going around Perth atm?

• Upvotes

What in the blue fuck is going around at the moment? I feel sicker than I can remember feeling for at least the past ten years and just tested negative to Covid, Influenza A&B, or RSV. Wondering what’s knocked me on my ass this badly if not any of those? Or is this just what viruses do to you when you’re middle aged?

At the rate Investors and retirees are listing properties in Perth it is clear that a projected 10000 homes for sale will easily be reached by the end of the year. Many buyers are now offering $300k-500k less than listing price for properties as the flood of listings continues to increase. Art Organising a Painting Class this October

Need something to do in Perth? My friends and I are organising something a little different.

We're hosting an event at the end of October, and we'd love for you to join us for a cozy evening of portrait painting with a local artist.

It's on Sat, 24 Oct 26, at the North Perth Lesser Hall, between 6-8:30 pm.

You can paint independently or follow along with Jinan as you learn to sketch and paint expressive portraiture using acrylics in a cozy classroom. No experience needed.

All art materials are included, and we have free hot drinks, juices and light bites (vegan/halal/vegetarian options) available throughout the night.

If you want to come alone, we have "Individuals Preferred" tables to make it easy to meet other creatives.

Tickets cost between $55 and $50, depending on whether you want a drink or not.

We hope to see you there!

Looking for Advice Creepy guy trying to video me and my kid at Kings Park?

Was at Kings Park yesterday (around 6:45 pm at Botanical Cafe) with my baby, husband and friends and noticed a guy, probably mid 40s or older, sitting opposite me. His body wasn’t even facing my direction, but his phone was very obviously pointed straight at me and my baby. Like, not a normal way someone would be holding their phone.

I noticed it for a while and eventually told my friends, loud enough for him to hear, that I felt like he was videoing me. I didn’t actually confront him.

He then slowly put his phone down on the bench, kind of side eyed us without directly looking at us, and shortly after got up and left. The whole thing felt a bit off, almost like he was trying to hide what he was doing.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it felt really creepy and deliberate. Has anyone else experienced something similar around Kings Park?

Honestly, I feel pretty disturbed by it. I really want to believe he wasn’t actually videoing me, but I don’t know. I don’t even know what I should have done in that situation. Just posting here because I needed to rant and maybe hear what others think.

Post image

I bought 2 scoops of ice cream at Kings Park snack bar, near Fraser's.

1 scoop $7.50

So i give $15 cash and the employee says no, its $16.50 because its public holiday....

I didn't know we have Sunday surcharge in WA, is this a thing? Maybe its just me that I've been oblivious to this.

Hey everyone, I’m on the hunt and looking any photos or even video of the dinosaur exhibit they had in Perth Zoo back in 1997 and they did a second one late 1998 / 1999. It was called Zoorassic park and they had robot dinosaurs in Perth zoo’s rainforest retreat area.

I am gathering intel and stuff for a documentary style video I plan to make. If you have video on tape I have the analog to digital capabilities. If not please send me your videos or photos if you have any at all. Thanks.

Hi. Lately I've grown interest into fishing. I used fish in conventional way like threads tied up on a stick but never did fishing with rods. I really wanna learn techniques of fishing like choice of gears and bets, understanding fish locations, timing etc. Is there anyone who can help me learn all these plz? I live in SOR and can travel anyplace from Mandurah to Scarborough to join u primarily. Cheers.

Looking for Advice Needing help finding a name to a number in Perth/ WA

• Upvotes

Hiya! I’ve had a person from my hometown use a fake account and I’ve now found a number attached to it. Tried using PayID to search it up. Reverse Australia won’t work. Wondering if anyone knows a way to figure it out? I’ve called it and they answered and they gave a fake name with giggles. Definitely someone I know as they know a lot of personal information about myself & friends.
Thanks!

Looking for Advice So Perth police wtf, can’t arrest a mother doing drugs infront of her child?

Had a call with a cop, the mother trashed her house, the children’s room and threw shit out on the road, does crack infront of the kid yet all the cops says they can’t go over cause it’s none of their business as people can do what they want in their homes.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.

Where to find Does anybody know of a mobile scooter mechanic?

I'm in North Perth. I bought the Misso a Peugeot Jetforce 125 scooter, and it started fine when I bought it. Unfortunately I spent a couple of weeks in hospital, and when I got around to give it a run, it wouldn't start. Battery is good, starter motor is turning over fine , I can hear the fuel pump priming. Topped it up with 98 fuel, still no joy. That's about the limit of my ability. It's probably something simple that can be done in the driveway, but I don't have the skills. If it has to be trailered to a workshop, that's cool, just want it going. Thanks for any advice.
