RAF Fairford has only a small permanent US presence, a couple of support squadrons whose purpose is to give the heavy bombers what they need when they show up for contingency operations. Those squadrons are still there, btw.
The US is too entrenched in Okinawa, in addition to the Japanese government wanting them there, for there to be any similar withdrawal.

I’m hoping we do pull out of Okinawa, shithead service members who shouldn’t even be in the institution to begin with ruin all of the hard work we do to maintain the relationship that we do with Japan, and it’s clear that many Okinawans don’t want us here for this reason.

It’s hard feeling proud being a Marine when I see Marines brutalize locals out in town. I’ve had nothing but courteous and respectful interactions with the Japanese and I hate that these dumbasses come out here, wearing my uniform, claiming to represent the same thing that I represent; and they go out in town and terrorize locals, get into DUIs, and erode all the hard work that we do to maintain our friendship with Japan. They can downvote me all they want, it’s the truth.

Have you not seen what’s been going on. The military has let him do what he wants. They have not done anything at this point. All the Generals that pushed back are now gone. We are at war with Iran. We threaten to take Greenland. We took Venezuela and interfering in Brazil’s election. We are going to take Cuba after we suffocate them. Putin and Xi are friends with trump but Canada is bad. I don’t know why everyone is turning a blind eye to all the writing on the wall.

China wishes he would. Japan tolerates the US’s presence to deter China. Japan doesn’t want man made Chinese islands popping up off the coast of Okinawa like the spratly islands.

There is literally no way he pulls back to the US. This is literally 50+ years in the making overseas infrastructure and organizations. No way does he pull them all home in 2 years lmao

This isn't exclusive to him, I read about it elsewhere as well. Trump and GOP want N and S Americas, and especially Greenland and Canada. I don't doubt he would start a war with Canada, nor just use existing troops in Greenland to just kind of take it.
