I stream sometimes on my sim racing YouTube channel, however I can never get the stream looking as crisp as I would like - this is particularly true of the textures of the track, they always look blurry.
I know sim racing streaming can be demanding, it is a fast paced visual, however other streamers seem to manage better quality than I can.
For info, I have a fibre connection, 500Mbps download, 70Mbps upload.
I have a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor, Intel® Core™ i7 20-Core Processor i7-14700F (Up to 5.4GHz) 33MB Cache, and Nvidia RTX3070.
My current settings are:
Base & Output Canvas: 2560 x 1440 (I want the 16:9 size)
FPS: 60
Video Encoder: NVIDIA NVENC H.264
Rescale: Disabled
Rate Control: Constant Bitrate
Bitrate: 10,000
Keyframe Interval: 2s
Preset: P6 Slower (Better Quality)
Tuning: High Quality
Multipass Mode: Two Passes (Quarter Resolution)
Profile: High
Look Ahead: unticked
Adaptive Quantisation: ticked
B-Frames: 2
Can anyone suggest any changes that may imporove my stream quality, and the blurry track textures?
Many thanks,
Andy
