Funny thing is when he signed the contract people were perfectly fine with it. A bit high but fine. The issue was he was hurt all year long with different things, and peyton watson had a really good one month stretch.

He's a fantastic transition player. That seems minor, but with Jokic, it's absolutely a weapon. He's going to be guarding the opponent's best wing, is always willing to book it down the floor, and finishes at the rim very well (that's not hyperbole, he's among the league leaders)
It also, amusingly, means he's nearly untradeable, because he's more valuable to the Nuggets than almost any other team

Hope Braun is better this year, I like the player. I also like that his contact led to my Cavs getting Peyton Watson, so it feels right to root for him in turn.
