I always pause this shit as Curry is in the air right before he releases it. I'm looking at this dude and these dudes draped around him and I'm thinking- man, if this was anyone else I'd be saying out loud wtf are you doing? But since it was Curry in the live game I just knew that shit was going in.

He’d just made 3 in a row and I still said “wtf are you doing” even then I didn’t believe 😭

Quick release single motion shots always look like Hail Marys.

It was a lot different as a warriors fan. There’s not a single shot he could take that I wouldn’t believe was going in. Us warriors fans were very happy everyone else finally got to experience being on his side

Other than getting to watch Steph light it up against Serbia and France, this was my favorite part of the Olympics.

I saw so many people who never got to root for Steph experience the euphoria of watching him get hot and, instead of hoping he misses, be able to cheer when the ball splashes through the hoop.

I’m still amazed at the shit he takes and makes. I yelled “No he fucking didn’t” when he let that last one fly. His two game heater is among the best basketball I’ve ever seen.

Shoutout to the FIBA (?) refs for getting out of the way and letting the boys play.

That's the unbelievable bit. That his ult meter lasted two games.

True. He literally saved us by catching fire to start the Serbia game.

Steph didn't do much early on in the Olympic campaign and there was talk like: "The ball is different" yadda yadda.... "Eh... at least KD and LBJ are ballin'"

Little did they know Curry was going to go off really late in the tour.

It was exhilarating. Thanks.

Being a Curry fan made me learn to accept that basketball is not always taking the smartest shots that was taught to me when I was a kid. You HAVE to be so fucking good to warrant those shots though.

Anyone else it's a bad shot and a heave. For Steph, this was a shot he practices and has the skill to hit. IOW - That wasn't a lucky shot. For everyone else, it would have been.

He talks about that in the doc - soon as he got the ball back and got into that behind-the-back dribble, it was just all automatic for him. The man is a fucking machine.

The craziest part of Steph is that he's clearly one of one. We talk about no one else being like him but it's NOT even close. The man is 38. He was drafted in 2009. We've had 17 drafts since and not a hint of a player like him.

Best shooter ever. Theres no better feeling as a ball player then when you’re hot and the second you release the ball you already know it’s going in. Can see it on Stephs face. My fave Olympic moment ever. #2 is Vince Carters dunk 😂

For any other player in basketball history that is a terrible shot., for Steph it was a Saturday.

Lifelong Portland fan I did the same thing with Dame a few times. He took that shot against OKC and I let out and audible “wtf are you doing??” And then drained it from 40 feet and I don’t think I ever opened my mouth about another Dame shot again

I actually did say those words out loud. Even as we’ve all seen him routinely torch teams for years in the NBA, he finds a way to top himself somehow.
