Probably a good moment to trade him then. Tigers can easily platoon 1B with Keith and Valencia/Briceno

He's not. He's been more valuable than Tork through his first three years in the show. It's not even a competition. Please consider, 2027 is year 6 for Tork. At some point you have to consider he's not going to get better.

he can’t hit lefties and keith plays crap defense at second and third. thats why hes more ā€œvaluableā€ because first base gets punished more.

He hit .304 across 82 at bats vs lefties in his first year. They've platooned him in his 2nd and 3rd year, and he hardly gets at bats against lefties. I believe that this stat is more on Hinch and Harris.

he barely hits above average against righties and yet some people here are convinced he’ll do fine against lefties. he can’t hit fastballs worth a damn or field. hes not a good baseball player.

You won't get the value from Colt playing 1B. He doesn't have the power to fill in that position.
