Discussion Shoutout TJ Hockenson

13/13 119 yards but the play of the game was the TD he didn’t score. It wasn’t obvious to slide down at the 1 many guys would have ran it in. TJ, being the leader and team player he is, slid down in bounds instead of scoring.

He doesn’t care about how many yards or touch downs he gets. All he cares about is winning.

He came here in a mid season in division trade 4 years ago and has had to deal with a lot of adversity since but he’s never stopped grinding for this team through all the ups and downs. He deserves a ton of praise for what he’s giving this franchise. I have no doubt that last drive will spark this offense into a new gear.

And shout out Kyler, to have a receiver go 13/13 says a lot about the QB as well. He protected the football and made winning plays against a criminally underrated defense.

SKOL BABY 4-0

It clicked for Kyler in the 2nd half today.

You gotta remember this was bros 2nd game in a year.

You could see in real time he started to feel it, in the second half he was seeing the field, you could see the confidence in his throws with a few throws in the mix that should make everyone super optimistic (over the middle to Addison, seam ball over the top of the backer to Hock).

I think the offense turned a corner today despite a low scoring output and this is a foundation that can be built on.

After today's 5 FG performance, Will Reichard has outscored the rest of the Vikings offense, 42-38.

That includes the W1 2-point conversion and does not include the W3 punt return touchdown.

Discussion Kyler Murray in the 4th Qtr Today: 13-14, 120 yards (1 hypothetical TD)

A new QB isn't needed. KOC finally stopped calling 8 second routes and let Kyler deal in the quick game. He'll keep getting more comfortable and the offense will take a huge step forward when Jettas gets back.

Dallas Turner DPOY

After today, DT is the narrow favorite to win DPOY on Kalshi (take that for what you will). What kind of numbers at the end of the season would give him a realistic chance to win? I’ve long been a Turner believer, and it’s great to see a year 3 guy being so impactful.

From the Vikings app.

Wow! Really puts into perspective how relatively healthy the Hitman has been over his long career.

Hall of Famer for sure in my book.
