I believe buying your kids toys in these sophisticated trend-forward pallettes of soft neutral colors makes you a bad parent 🤷

Yes, genius, nothing is free. Swimming in a lake isn't free because there's a forestry commission maintaining that. Walking in a park isn't free because your taxes paid for the park. But for f***'s sake, you know what we mean and this argument is getting tiresome.

When people say free, we mean free at the point of use, not "it absolutely didn't cost anyone a dime", because that doesn't exist. When I decide to get a heart attack today and it ends up costing me nothing, it's free.

Can we get over this silly argument now?

I hope the person who thought this is a good design will have to enter emergency services phone number with this.

I recently planted some vegetable seedlings and discovered that I have a very big snail problem. So yesterday I went and spread snail pellets everywhere.

This morning I found a resident blue tongue lizard had just woken up from its hibernation (new house so was unknown to me I had a lizard friend).

I'm quite fond of lizards and lizards are quite fond of snails so I just spent an hour picking up all the snail pellets I just put down so my new lizard friend doesn't die.

Snail pellets are very small and my fingers are very big. Thankyou for listening.

Pellets all mixed into the straw in the photo so you can't really see many. But trust me, there was a lot.

I pulled weeds the other day and got poison which i'm kinda use to happening. Too much posion around the property. Anyway about a day after it shows my fiance gifted me a new fitbit after i lost my last one. Probably won't be for another week until i can wear it. For anyone who doesnt know, oatmeal soap bars (Sappo Hill is what I use) work WONDERS for itchiness. & Benadryl itch cream is the best cream.

Computer asks for password, gets tired, ends Build script

This Is a thing that Is supposed to run overnight, i have modified the builder specifically so It asks for the password ONCE and uses it again and again.

Now i have to use sudo when starting the script, which can be risky.

I've had a lot of medical appointments recently and I'm socially anxious and very deaf, small talk is my nightmare. The more I appear to be quiet and stressed the more they ask me irrelevant small talk because (I assume) they've been told this will distract me and calm me down from my stressful medical procedures. Please stop with the incredibly stressful discussion about what I will have for breakfast and get straight to the not at all stressful sticking needles in me part. I can't seem to find any of the right words that make them stop doing it.

EDIT: the post literally says I have tried to tell them to stop it but I can't find the right words that actually make them stop, but thanks for all the "you should tell them" - I've done that. It doesn't work.

In 2019 I had surgery on my spine. My only limitation after surgery was to limit bending and twisting and try to maintain good posture by squatting or pivoting instead.

Simple, right?

Got a new job in March. They heard "spinal surgery" and felt the perfect spot for me was unloading the truck. After six months I finally got the form from corporate for my doctor to fill out saying what my limitations are.

The first form my doctor said I couldn't lift ANYTHING, squat, kneel, reach, ect - everything EXCEPT maintaining proper posture. That's not right! Doc fills out the form again

I've spent all day staring at this section wondering how someone can squat without bending their knees.

Also, I stock shelves. Trying to figure out how and why I need a limit on power tools???
