I'm slightly vexed Locking a bathroom behind you in a crowded cafe.
Drove an hour into a crowded mountain town to see family from the other side of the US. Get to crowded cafe, go to use bathroom. There are two but someone had shut the door on their way out with the door still locked.
Ended up pissing behind a trading post. Just mildly infuriating. Don’t lock bathrooms you’re not inside.
Edit: yes, I informed the staff but nature was done calling.

I've never encountered a restroom door that did that unless it was a place where you're supposed to ask for a key.

This was a first for me. It wasn’t that kind of place, some dummy just left the door locked behind them.

Sounds like the restaurant is more the dummy than that person since they clearly have the wrong type of locks on their restrooms. I wouldn't blame that person at all. That lock shouldn't be able to do that.

Not the most top tier players, I’ll say that

I mean you never saw inside of the door so it could be super easy to hit the lock again on your way out. Either way definitely not their fault.

Nah it was a press button, as I used it later when they got it open. Not one you’d just bump into and lock it. But let’s keep discussing it?

It used to happen at a store where I worked, every single weekend. We then had to leave the registers to poke something into the door to pop the lock.

It's pretty sad multiple places can't figure out how to get the right kind of locks.

Did you tell staff the door was locked with nobody inside?
