I'm slightly vexed The single item costs more than the meal

Post image

It worked both ways, when I chose the single item option it offered to subtract 39 cents from the price to upgrade it to a meal…. Absolutely no idea what to make of this

I don't see how this is mildly infuriating? Just get the meal, give the extra items to a homeless person or something.

The $5 price is a on sale $5 meal deal price.

Yeah from the logic of one item < multiple items but to the bean counters and their spreadsheets it’s different. Adjusting the base item cost down effects the numbers different then running deals and specials

The other day I went and tried to get just a sausage egg mcmuffin and a hash brown. Price was almost $8. Thankfully, at the last minute, I saw the ad for the deal. I added a coffee that I immediately threw out and the price was changed to $5.35

You’re mad that the meal doesn’t cost more?

You could make that entire meal for less than $2 at home without driving every time. Just go to the grocery store once a week.
