Between the permissions of facebook and reddit, your smart tv and your isp/router provider all the info alexa could gather is already available through more roundabout means anyway. Privacy is an illusion

Privacy is definitely an illusion. My cat figured out how to unlatch the bathroom door. Found this out today when I was taking a dump. She opens the door and casually walks in, sits down opposite me. I'm sure she posted pictures.

Your phone is already listening to you. Several times I was talking about a specific product and next time I opened my phone, there's all the ads for it.
