I will never, ever have any of this tech shit in my house watching and listening to me. It's insane. I have a smart phone, but that's it, and I disabled all I could on there.
If you have a network device with an accessory such as a microphone or camera, turning it off in software means that a bad actor can just as easily turn it on in software if they can gain remote access to your device. Which they can. If you’re worried about that, of course.
