This thing is plugged into the wall so I really don't think power consumption is a concern.

Also can't they just do low power mode that rounds up to closest hour or something

Doesn’t matter as it probably gets some genetic software used for many other devices. And it comes wirh power saving by default, you can probably turn it off somehow.

You know, if it isn’t as relevant and none reports it Tl the devs, it’s probably just something noobe ever thought about.
