I just wanted a hot dog i hate short faucets with huge sinks
and there’s little to no water pressure to make it even worse

Every sink in my sister's house is like this annoying the crap out of me. Hate having to wash my hands pressed against the sink

Happy to find a post that is actually mildly infuriating as opposed to posts that are either super infuriating or plain obnoxious

That was the original bathroom sink in my MIL's 1960s home.

trust me, some places still have these; as a matter of fact, there are several at my workplace 🙂🙂🙂

I’d be more worried about water splashing out.
Also, a tiny faucet makes you hit your knuckles on the back of the sink as well

I am the same. Even worse is when you have to push your hand up against the back part of the sink to wash the soap off of part of your hand because the faucet is too small and placed far to far back...
I've got a smaller version of swivel faucets in my bathrooms. They are wonderful and my youngest only turned it up against the wall and turned it on once when he was a toddler lol.

Looks like this is a commercial sink - which would suggest there may be multiple water pumps in the system and im willing to bet at least one of them is failing- as far as the low water pressure is concerned. Heck maybe thats the reason for low pressure- they inatalled a cheap $30 faucet instead of repairing/replacing the $1k+ pump. Now as I'm typing this out maybe it is a residential landlord special after all...

Good news. The faucet pours INTO the sink. It functions.
Yes, I like getting s faucet that pours into the center of the sink.

The delta lever handle is a great faucet in so many scenarios. This one, not so much

I dont understand why this is that way in any house or building you go to. You have to wash your hands touching the damned sink, like i guess in the 1800s you filled the sink up and kept the water in there or some shit? I want a goose neck faucet directly over the drain, im not washing clothes in it.

The next revolution is the motion-activated faucet. But let’s not point the sensor down into the sink, let’s force the user to raise their hands as high as possible and wash very vigorously to keep the water flowing. That way, water splashes everywhere.

Hitting your hands on the goddamn sink just trying to get it under the faucet. I also hate small sinks with massive faucets.
