Ruined by Technology Got into a dumb 10 minute argument about whether the ACL and Achilles are the same thing or not. My idiot friend forgot to crop his screenshot before sending it to me...🤦

Honestly it should be -55. Fraud should be considered worse than doing nothing at all to balance the potential reward for not getting caught.

Not anymore. They’re starting to spin it as ā€œableistā€ to punish kids who use AI, according to my brother who is currently in grad school.

Woof I didn’t know that. I got academic misconduct over a single source I didn’t use MLA formatting correctly. Had to fight to get it off my record, almost lawyered up. No punishment for blatant ai/cheating would have far reaching implications; post secondary is serious and should be taken that way… removing barriers only serves to further erode trust

Sorry that happened to you. Yep, it’s a total racket. 90% of colleges only give a shit about their sports programs — moronic AI-reliant graduates don’t matter as long as the football team gets its money.
