Picture Newest project

Just a simple turning between centers project. Im simply using a manual lathe to do it.

Take your time and if you are using decent material, its a fun project. Probably my favorite of the nims projects I have done

Fun, but tedious, for sure. Probably the most complex nims project I have done in my time in this machining program.

NIMS gave me no real advantage, but was a good test of skills.

A good test of skills, 100%. I learn a lot by doing NIMS projects when I get them.

Oil stains mean real work haha. did that exact nims part years ago. watch the tailstock pressure when pressing that diamond knurl, easy to push it off center or bend the shaft before finishing passes.
