Will This Game Run? Cyberpunk - ver. 1.6 or 2.3

I unfortunately have an hdd and I am dying to play cuberpunk

Although I completed phantom liberty and the devil ending but still want to play so that the roads don't pop in or won't load I want to know that if version 1.6 will help or not as i heard that it was for hdd (even for minimum req) will it be like 2.3 or something better

i tried putting the latest one on my HDD from SSD, roads just don't load fast enough even the HDD toggle on in the game

yeah, i just tested it cuz my space was running out on my SSD the last time i had the game

I heard that version 1.6 wil run much smoother for HDDs as it's listed on system requirements And yeah 2.3 version does the same in my pc too

Whats your current specs, CPU also has some play on that slow texture loading when cpu is constantly at high usage

I see...is your main os install on Ssd and games on HDD? I got like 5 SSDs installed (4 sata ssd and 1 NVME) and 2 1tb HDDs LOL

Bro...you got the luck I have windows on sata ssd (118gb) And the rest 1tb is hdd and yeah games are on hdd

On version 2.3, I was getting 24 fps with 720 XESS upscaling with quality And now I've downloaded 1.6 and now I am getting 20fps with 720p native and approx 28fps with ultra quality upscaling, FSR My eyes got used to these fps 😅 but I wish I could also play these games much smoother I also play rdr2, death stranding, spider man remastered, Assassin's creed unity, forza horizon 4

There is a toggle in the settings to make even the latest version run well on HDD. I think it was called Slow HDD mode. But the game uses heavy asset streaming so if you want to max out graphics and population density then forget it, even that setting won't help you
