Used my knife to cut up a banana at lunch and sat my knife down for two seconds to wash my hands before washing my knife. Turned back around and a coworker had my knife in hand trying to cut open a can of beans in the most horrific way possible. He had the knife edge on the edge of the bean can trying to cut the rim off. I literally sharpened this two days ago.

First trip to the hospital for a cut since I started buying and sharpening knives.
Iāve had some pretty bad cuts but this one went so deep and my finger instantly went numb so I knew it was way worse than any of the others. It went to the bone and just poured blood because I actually cut the radial artery of the index finger so I got to see blood pulse out of it and even squirt out a little like in the movies. I bled for a total of 5 hours waiting for the ER to fix me. It wouldāve been all super glue but she didnāt think the super glue would fully stop the artery from bleeding so she did 3 stitches to stop the bleeding and the rest super glue.
They said the feeling should come back in the tip of my finger once healed but I doubt it.

A schedule 40 pvc pipe going to the booster pump for my pool broke. I have extractor bits but not one big enough for 1/2" pipe so I decided my Civivi Elementum in Nitro V would work to get it out. I hammered it in with a couple of gentle taps. Then I used pliers to grip the blade and when i started to turn it to reverse it out, it snapped on me. Oh well, time to upgrade my beater knife. We had a good 3 year run!

I worked 16.5 hrs, commuted 1 1/2 hrs home. Showered did laundry and jetted out the door to catch my flight with the wife for a vacation. I brought my work back pack and thought I took everything out. Didnāt check a zipper compartment and forgot my crooked river was in there TSA just scored. It hurts, guys.
Also, we shuttled in and no checked bags.
