My Kitten Taking guesses
Taking guesses… do you think our little Ashe will have long hair or short hair? I’m think she will be medium.

My Kitten Should I adopt her
Lil cutie kitty
I found this small kitten today near the place where we keep cattle fodder (bhusa).
The kitten's eyes are fully open, it has very small teeth and claws, and it can walk on its own. It can't run very fast yet, but when I picked it up, it tried really hard to escape. It also meows normally.
I later found out that the kitten's mother was nearby. She eventually took the kitten and moved away.
I really want to adopt this kitten, but I don't want to separate it from its mother too early or do anything that could harm it.
Can someone estimate the kitten's age from the photo and tell me when it would be safe to adopt it?
Also, should I leave the kitten with its mother for now and wait until it's older?
I'm completely new to raising kittens, so any advice would be appreciated.
Please advise me

My Kitten 2 21 week old kittens. HELP! Lol
Hello people of reddit!
(Siamese is Atlas and the furry guy is Nova. Nova likes to hiss until you pet him then he’s a big softie and Atlas likes to just run away, but he also loves belly rubs when he’s in the mood)
I’ve never made one of these things and not sure how it even reaches anyone, but whatever. I’m 31M and my live-in girlfriend 26F just got 2 kittens from the shelter. Shes quite familiar with older cats considering she grew up with them all of her life, but me? Absolutely not. I never had a cat, but! I’ve always wanted one. Considering my gf and I both just got out of the military and we are finally have our own space we wanted to bring a cat home for awhile! So, we kept going to the shelter trying to see if we could find a cat that we would take home and rescue. One day we get a text from my gfs sister about 2 kittens in the shelter; I seen them and said oh yeah! We’re totally getting them. I go to the shelter, see the kittens, they were sleeping and I figured that much they’re babies. I tell them “hey could I see Orville and D.C?” They’re delight saying “oh! Thank goodness Orville and D.C. are going to a home!” With almost a sigh of relief?? Maybe I misinterpreted that, but needless to say. In the middle of the transaction I get told during the process that they’re “shy” and I had to keep them in a room for 3 days before I let them around our apartment. (Keep in mind we live in about a 1400 sqft loft no actual bedroom, but 2 bathrooms with pocket doors and latches on them)To which, I agreed and thought “well, that sounds like a fairly normal thing to do???” So, I never questioned it. I know some people will say “why wasn’t your girlfriend there?” She was getting ready for work so I wanted to come back with the cats. That’s all. Anywho, the first couple of hours I knew were going to be the “worst” of it given the fact that they’re in a brand new space. I would go in every 2 hours and stay with them for 15-20min ignoring them mostly and then casually quick pets. One hisses at me when I get close and even swiped at me once, but once he realized I’m not going to harm him he lets me pet him and he purrs and closes his eyes. He’s quite a loud boy. Today is day 3. We opened the door to the bathroom they’ve been in since I brought them home and now they’re still so skittish. They won’t even play with the toys I bought. They also just got spayed so I’m trying to take all of these things into consideration. It’s almost a feeling of defeat?? Or am I just doing something wrong?? I don’t have much experience with cats, but they’re just hiding and running away. They do great whenever I have a churu of course they come closer.
