Coming from a disgruntled pessimistic Kings fan, I'm actually looking forward to this season.
I'm intrigued to see a healthy Keegan and Hunter play both ends of the floor together,
looking forward to see Sabonis and Acuff work together with LaVine set up as the primary option, now that DeRozan is gone.
I’m Intrigued with the Kings bench too, they finally have someone who can distribute the ball with Monk and Max as the scorers. And of course also interested in seeing Nique, Achiuwa and Cardwell play their roles in the rotation.
All that and didn’t even mention Sharp, who if plays well this season can replace Monk, if traded and just add that much defense to the team.
Now will this team be fighting the top teams in the West for the high seed? no, but for once we have a NBA roster that makes sense.

I always brag about how chill Kings fans are. We tend to be among the most passionate fans in all of sports and I love the city so much. But this situation sucks.
I see so many comments about how the women caught on the hot mic "need to be punished as if they were men". And yet, when news came out about Doug Christie, Scott Perry, and other staff sexually harassing a female Kings staffer...? Crickets. Maybe a post about it and a comment or two. But now we hear a pair of women talking about how Ben Simmons has nice skin and y'all are ready with the guillotines. Insane.
We had Terrance Davis on the squad for years who was actually arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. I guarantee you the same people calling for "justice" for these reporters didn't give a single shit about that.
Now to be clear, what the women (AND MAN BY THE WAY) said was completely, ridiculously unprofessional and they should absolutely be held accountable. They made our organization look terrible. Usually our org is pretty clean with this stuff even though the team sucks and this year has been super disappointing in that regard.
But come on. If you really want justice, start talking about Blake Griffin, Miles Bridges, Zion Williamson, Mike Bibby even. People who may have done horrible things. Give me a break.

With this Simmons signing I’m finding myself start to fantasize... What if Ben maximizes Domas? What if the low-pressure environment of Sac gets Ben to become the LeBron replacement he was always meant to be? What if Keegan finds his aggression and 3 point shot?
I know I’m only setting myself up for a very painful disappointment. Please help me

Anyone listen to Carmichael Dave this morning? He mentioned receiving multiple texts from folks around Sacramento that Ben Simmons was dining in Sac last night. He showed the evidence to Jason and Chris, who seemed to believe it was legit based on the evidence.
Does anyone here know whether this was legit or not?

Vegas is in the same ballpark but is slightly more optimistic. Kings country, tell me why I shouldn't take 3 mortgages out on the house and bet it on the over? If we all do this, then surely we'll be rich enough to buy out Vivek once the casinos pay out.

Jalen Duran a cringe poser and homophobe and one of the worst rappers I’ve ever heard and want him nowhere near the Kings. Riding Cade’s coattails. Kangz forever if we give him money do anything other than use ourselves as leverage for the Pistons in order to seem league relevant or a threat next offseason.

Wanna run this one through y'all. Max cannot be the starter. He's not good enough defensively to anchor a defense. He doesn't mesh well with Domas defensively. Domas is a bit underrated defensively...he's not awful in mobility and he battles around the rim. He has good awareness. His issue is the inability to rim protect. Maxime doesn't address that, and on offense, Maxime has a nice looking shot but it's never been high percentage. They play in similar parts of the court.
Hunter is a pretty pedestrian defender. He's better on 3's than 4's but so is Keegan. He can shoot, although he struggled last season. Kings have wanted him for a while. I know with Precious, the offense would have big issues with spacing so I am not necessarily saying he should start but throwing it out there to see what you all think. He's a versatile defender who rebounds on both ends and though he isn't a huge shot blocker, he does grade well as a rim defender.
Since there are so few two way options, we have to deal with the circumstances as they are. Would you all start Precious with Domas in the frontcourt?

I know we were bad last season, but that's because firstly, we had no PG, second all our core players were injured all season, and thirdly iso demar and westbrook were forced to run the team. Now that both are gone and we are starting the season healthy with our rookies improving from last year and with a pure PG that can draw triple teams and also pass to open teammates. what if we shock the league and on the path to a 50+ win season by the trade deadline?
Should we try to keep Sabonis, Lavine, Hunter throughout the rest of the season to keep the run going?
OR
Stick with the rebuilding plan and cut these guys by the trade deadline even if it derails the winning streak and the comraderie, to acquire picks and young players. Future matters than this season.

I’m so over drafting older college guys just because they played for winning programs. It almost NEVER translates for the Karaban archetype. He has zero above average NBA skills. He’s Justin Jackson 2.0.
Please dunk on this post if he eventually proves me wrong. Would love that
