I love the electric feel in the air on a rainy day. It's like, this energy, I dunno. And it kind of humbles everybody. Everyone's getting ruffled up, hair blown around getting into the building

I miss actual storms so much. Im from Minnesota and now live in the Pacific Northwest, so I get drizzly rain instead of actual thunderstorms. People are surprised when I get excited telling them about how the sky turned green!

Sometimes we get thunder and lightning, and it absolutely DOES rain rain. But yeah no, not to the extent of the Upper Midwest or other areas of the states, there aren’t like tornado warning sirens, mammatus clouds, green skies, etc.

Those are the storms that my parents used to make me stay under cover for! Or on occasion hunker down in the basement!

Yes! I especially love dashing out of the store when it's raining buckets while everyone else is huddled under the overhang waiting for it to die down. Makes me feel alive somehow, just free and of the earth.

I feel you! I grew up in a place with mostly rainfall throughout the warmer(relative to winter) parts of the year. We'd also regularly get these thunderstorms that you could feel in your chest after every crack of lightning and those are my favorite. Where I live now I had to get used to a "big" thunderstorm being one you can only hear, not feel in your soul. I've been here for 7 years now and I can count on one hand the thunderstorms that shook me to my core. It's disappointing, but there are cool ass mountains, like, right there from where I live now; so it's a balance with nature, lol.

I had a romantic kiss the other day with this guy I'm seeing after we ran to his car in the pouring rain 🤩. I'm down for the count guys

I wish I was like the girl in the rain, but in reality I'm way more like the girl in the red dress lmao

Omg I only just discovered that video a couple of weeks ago, and watched it at least a half dozen times! I then got a few friends who also hadn't seen it, and now they're obsessed, lmao.

I love that Tom was so 100% into it. So serious, just focusing on the dance, with a bewildered Zendaya standing by.

If I had that hair I’d flip it too! I still haven’t forgiven myself for getting a lob. 😭 (I blame Huda because her big chop was such a W)

Woman here living in Seattle, big meh. I hate feeling like a wet dog especially if I’m on my way somewhere I’m trying to be put together. These women look like they’re out to party, not on their way to work or need to sit inside wet in a cool building or something…

Living in the moment can also look like reading a book by the window in the rain. Just enjoying yourself for yourself is living in the moment. And as much as I really am not trying to target these women having an absolute blast, for a lot of people living in the moment is a lot harder with a camera pointed at you. Performance can absolutely be self-fulfilling. Filming your joy isn't inherently dishonest. But I dunno, there's some level of cynicism that creeps into me when people do film moments of spontaneity like this. I'm sure they're having fun, but I'm not sure I'd agree with the post title wholeheartedly.

Now would she have done this if someone wasn't filming her? I feel like living in the moment is counterintuitive to acting a certain way while being filmed with the intention of using it for social media content/clout. People can't even tell the difference between actual spontaneous behavior and this fake BS anymore. She literally performed for the camera.

I got a fever doing this and almost died. Okay I didn't almost die but had the most memorable flu in my entire life and I am 4 decades into my life lol

Do you ever get to choose for your moments to be dry when you live in the moment or do you always have to get soaked in the rain
